The Greatest battle of Rock
Review of Live At The Royal Albert Hall 1966 (The Bootleg Series Vol.4) - Bob Dylan by  pink

Advantages: excellent music, history recorded, Dylan at war with the audience, unique expirence
Disadvantages: addictive, NONE!

...Series Vol.4 - Bob Dylan Live 1966." Subtitle: "The 'Royal Albert Hall' Concert" Venue: Manchester Free Trade Hall, May 1966 ...Background... Bob Dylan had shot to fame for taking Folk music to the front of international consciousness. From the early unique styled Folk album 'Bob Dylan' Dylan had in fact constantly been shifting his direction. He became the most respected protest songwriter of the time and his songs became anthems for the peace and love movement. With the socially conscious, politically motivating messages Bob Dylan had won the respect of not just society as a whole but also of the intellectual elite. Come 1966 however and something was different. Bob Dylan was a different Bob Dylan to the one who had won over all that respect. He had become a modern day prophet, there were people hanging to his words... Read review

Paul is...Live?!
Review of Back In The World (Live) - Paul McCartney by  MizzMolko

Advantages: Some fantastic songs that benefitted from a live atmosphere.
Disadvantages: Some tracks didn't work vocally, a little Beatle bias.

Gary once said" I Would Do Anything For you!"
Review of Dream Corrosion - Gary Numan by  1pinkpear

Advantages: great mixture of live songs
Disadvantages: not enough songs

...Hello. I was just looking through and decided to do a review on this cd. It was recorded live at the London Hammersmith Apollo on November 6th1993. Mixed and produced by the man himself. This cd offers a wide range of Gary's electro sythersiser music. His song's on this cd are very catchy I'm always singing along to it as it's not all doom and gloom in the lyrics and I can connect to it. He has been around since before the first time I heard of him when "Cars" Hit number 1 in the charts back in 1979 .I like his unusual refreshing singing voice. This was the very first single I bought and I have never looked back. I have lots of Gary moments when I have to put on the cd and unwind. His lyrics are very well put together. His car song has been used in a advert . Cd imoformation Firstly the front cover is a good picture of Gary holding... Read review
