Advantages: A Walk Down Memory Lane, Remembering The pop 90's Disadvantages: Repetitive Lyrics & Beats
...Greetings everyone,
Guess what I am back with another classic pop CD review. I am again doing some annual cleaning before Chinese New Year and this CD is what I dug out. It must have been one of the few CDs I consider worth keeping, that's probably why I still have it.
By the way, if I were to mention Solid Harmonie, most of you might have not even heard of them unless you were really into pop during the starting days of Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys sometime back in 1998.

Advantages: Makes you loose weight because you can't not dance to it! Disadvantages: No version of Desert Rose (duet with Sting).
...you're driving. One of my favourites, actually, I think they all are!
Track 6: Hada Ch'hal - Violins in this one, with their strings being plucked for a more funky sound. Another upbeat addition, I don't think he does anything but upbeat!
Track 7: Hatachi - This one, prepare yourselves, is verging on REGGAE!!! It has a reggae beat, which surprisingly gels well with Arabic lyrics! A quite chilled song this one.
Track 8: Bekatni - Quite a dark one again, a bit more serious, but would still get your belly jiggling!
Track 9: Cheikh - Very traditional to start, then a bit of a rockin' backdrop. Quite a slow dark song. Lots of drums and very good bass, this would make your car bounce.
Track 10: Azwaw 2 - The remix. My absolute favourite ever. Excellent deep pounding bass. Beautiful vocals, I will apologise, I cannot tell you the name...

Advantages: Good songs, great voices Disadvantages:
...The Honeyz rerleased their debut single in November 1998 and at that time the members were Celena, Naima, and Heavenli. However, Heavenli quit the band in early 1999 after the Honeyz had released just two singles, "Finally Found" and "End Of The Line", but was quickly replaced by ex Solid Harmonie member Mariama. The band have continued to be succesful and have now had a total of 5 top 10 singles, and an album. The bands style is R+B, with a lot of their songs being ballads but their last being a more uptempo number....
