No one seems to capable of widing up people like Eminem. To be honest he says it all to get publicity. A fact he's quite honest about in some of the lyrics on this album. He even twists it around to say that the media keep fueling him to carry on doing it. This album is a mixed bag. I'm not the biggest fan of Rap muic but know a good tune when I hear one. The track 'Stan' made me buy this record. It's a very stark and aggressive song whihc is actually a bit unsettling and also haunting with the use of the Dido sample. 'I am' simply states his reasons for being contreversial but also has lyrics that ring true about seom of the american values. He's right on the button when it comes to events such as Columbine when people are quick to jump at the movies and music as the cause when they should be looking at what's going on at home. The one thing which does not go down on the album is the blatent homophobia that Eminem has, Frankly even I found it offensive and it has no place on a record. but then again it gets attention. He really creates vicous circle.
