1.Public Service Announcement 2000 (N/a)
2.Kill You - A great start to the album, A song about how he’s going to kill you, only to find out that he’s joking. 4/5
3.Stan – ft Dido – brilliant track which went to No.1 only to be knocked off by Bob the Builder ( I think), Eminem turns Dido’s nice gentle song into a sycophancy Eminem freak song… 5/5
4.Paul (skit) N/a
5.Who Knew – not one of my fav tracks but has a good beat to it! 3/5
6.Steve Berman - N/a
7.the Way I Am – Brilliant track telling us how he feels and that he does not care what people think of him. Fast track with constant rhyming and rhythm, 5/5
8.The Real Slim Shady – one of Eminem’s “Funny” tracks – im slim shady, yes im the real shady, great track for the club , and has since been used with many remixes.4.5/5
9.Remember Me? – ft RBX – For me a poor track with no real meaning. 2/5
10.I'm Back – “ I murder a rhyme, one word at a time” a brilliant lyric and this track is full of them, a true “hiphop” track, this track has the beat, the lyrics and the lot. 5/5
11.Marshall Mathers – The best track on the album!!! , Eminem puts on a perfect performance – a couple of Digs at Britney, N-sync, ICP etc… 5/5
12.Ken Kaniff (skit)
13.Drug Ballad – a more up beat track another great track from Eminem, a great track for a house party, All about drinking and drugs! 5/5
14.Amityville - Bizarre – For me his is another weak link to a very good album, I like Bizarre (from D12) but neither Mc does this beat justice,.
15.Bitch Please II – ft Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Xibit, - brilliant track very tight rhyming from probably 4 of the best hip hop artists. 5/5
16.Kim – very violent sounding track, Eminem acts psychotic towards Kim(ex wife) and how he acts that she had been cheating on him! a track which you only will listen too once! Cant really rate this track, if you have heard it you probably know why!
17.Under The Influence – ft D12 – The line “ got fired from UPS for trying to send you a bomb” sticks out the most for me, great lyrics from the D12 crew!5/5
18.Criminal – great start to the track, putting the whole album into context. Another brilliant piece of rhyming, with another Dig at Ken Kaniff (ICP) 5/5Titles on Disc 2
1. The Real Slim Shady (instrumental)
2. The way I Am (instrumental)
3. Stan (instrumental)
4. The Kids (explicit version, bonus track)
5. Way I Am, The (Danny Lohner remix) -ft Marilyn Manson – when I first played this track I was like ,,, wow, that scary!, a deep remix with Manson singing the chorus. A real deep thrashing beat!. 5/5

Package
The package is a cardboard slide out with a poster of Eminem on one side (with his mask on) and Marilyn Manson on the other side with Eminem. The Album its self is the standard two Cd package.
Inlay
Straight forward inlay, pictures of Eminem and his D12 crew, The inlay gives details of Writer of songs and producers etc… but no lyrics , if you want them you can visit his website!
Overall
A really great album with Eminem on top form, not suitable for the easily offended though. I would defiantly recommend this album to any hip-hop fan Highlights for the package include the three videos for the singles that were released along with the “The Way I Am” remix, a few tracks let down this otherwise brilliant album. It’s just a shame I can’t say this about the Eminem Show Album! Never mind .

Review of Marshall Mathers LP, The (UK Version) [ECD] [PA] - Eminem
Advantages: He has great heart in his songs Disadvantages: You may be offended
In my opnion i love this album. I love most of eminems album but this is one of the best of his releases. I listen to this album again and again and again. The tracks are Criminal, Under The Influence, Kim, Bitch Please II, Amityville, Drug Ballad, Ken Kaniff, I'm Back, Remember Me?, The Real Slim Shady, The Way I Am, Steve Berman (Skit), Who Knew Paul (Skit), Stan, Kill You, PSA 2000, The Way I Am (Danny Lohner Remix Featuring Marilyn Manson), The ... ...and The Real Slim Shady (Instrumental).
This album is completly orginal. The lyrics are extremly bad in some songs but in others there is no swear words. The tracks just go on being good there is no repeats or fussyness. It is one of the best tracks eminem has released ever. It is also good against any other rapper. The layout is great but the case cracks easily. the cover is good and layed out well its a good picture and the cd and everything else ...

Advantages: He puts alot of heart and soul into his songs and keeps it real. Disadvantages: He uses alot of foul language wich can somtimes give the wrong impression.
This album is basically all about eminem, Where he grew up, how he grew up and what happened in his life. I love this album because he puts alot of emotion into it. You can almost feel his pain. Although alot of people are put off by the foul language and rap if they took the time to listen to the words of the song I am sure they wouldn't be so quick to critisize him. When I sometimes feel a bit low I drift away into my own space and play this CD ...

THE MARSHALL MATHERS LP won the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "The Real Slim Shady" won the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance. THE MARSHALL MATHERS LP was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Album Of The Year. A Caucasian rapper from Detroit, a Dr. Dre disciple with bright blonde hair--by rights Eminem should be the biggest cheeseball in the hip-hop universe. However, his debut, THE SLIM SHADY LP, contained clever rhymes and even the occasional innovation. His sophomore effort, THE MARSHALL MATHERS LP, is about as subtle as a Detroit Devil's Night and proves Eminem's no fluke, but instead a most unlikely rap visionary. While his horror/shock rap can be repetitive, it's more often hilarious, as he and his Slim Shady character skewer anyone and everyone, notably the MTV-based world that surrounded him after the success of his first record. Few can come up with rhymes as consistently clever as this Motor City madman, and lines which will be repeated as long as this CD is spun. The most startling moment has to be "Stan," featuring haunting, ethereal guest vocals from Dido; an incongruously sublime track, it spins an o henry-meets-'60s teenage-death-song tale of obsessed fan worship gone terribly wrong.
Album Reviews
Rolling Stone (1/4/01, p.106) - Ranked #1 in Rolling Stone's Top 10 Albums of 2000 - "...His tortured conscience gives the album its complex emotional kick..." Spin (1/01, p.73) - Ranked #3 in Spin's "Top 20 Albums of the Year [2000]" - "...What 'going too far' means: really, finally brought that psycho rude s*** home to the 'burbs....leaving more things unsettled than when he started." Q (1/01, p.90) - Included in Q's "50 Best Albums of 2000". NME (12/30/00, p.77) - Ranked #7 in NME's "Top 50 Albums Of The Year". CMJ (1/08/01, p.10) - Included in CMJ's "Best of the Year" for 2000. The Source (8/00, pp.225-6) - 4 mics out of 5 - "...You wanna peep [this LP], if not for the intense lyrics and witty punch lines, at least for the chance of witnessing one of the craziest MCs grow up right before ya ears." Vibe (8/00, p.162) - "...Should forever erase the notion that [he] is the Elvis Presley of hardcore hip hop. If anything, he's rap's Eric Clapton: a white boy who can hang with the best black talent based on sheer skill - enhancing the art form instead of stealing from it." Rap Pages (7/00, p.45) - "...Even more abrasive and offensive....proving again that his imagery and storytelling abilities stand tall over most other rappers..." Rolling Stone (7/20/00, pp.135-6) - 4 stars out of 5 - "...He's more funny and much more scary....A car-crash record: loud, wild, dangerous, out of control, grotesque, unsettling. It's also impossible to pull your ears awat from." Q (8/00, p.98) - 3 stars out of 5 - "...[His] disaffection sucks you in and the wholesale nihilism can still provoke shivers..." Uncut (8/00, p.90) - 4 stars out of 5 - "...You might not like where he's dragging you, but there's no denying the style with which he does it..." Melody Maker (6/6/00, p.54) - 4 stars out of 5 - "...It has an answer to everything, filling every parking-spot in the towering multi-storey of ego with a triple-bluffmobile....No one else puts such a rocket under rap's self-consciousness or makes it so shocking..." NME (6/3/00, p.39) - 9 out of 10 - "...Real twisted...one long, disillusioned whine....[It] may be the white noise of America's Most Unwanted, but it also the product of a talent supremely Untouchable." Entertainment Weekly (6/2/00, pp.76-7) - "...Indefensible and critic-proof, hypocritical and heartbreaking, unlistenable and undeniable; it's a disposable shock-rap session, and the first great pop record of the 21st century..." - Rating: A- CMJ (6/12/00, p.3) - "...Musically, the album is a triumph....You can't deny [the lyrics'] searing honesty, and that's what makes [him] one of pop's compelling artists."
