...With his smooth, sexy, crooning-like vocals, Matt Dusk sounds like a young Frank Sinatra, with a touch of Steve Lawrence and a hint of Jerry Vale. He has the Sinatra timing, a pause or hesitation in just the right places, the soaring drama of Steve Lawrence, and the perfect diction that Jerry Vale is famous for. My favorite song on this CD is the remake of the Beatles song, "Please Please Me". To really appreciate the song you need to see the music video which can be found at Matt Dusk's official website. When you watch him singing, and he looks into the camera, you feel that he's singing directly to you. When he sings words like "love", his enunciation is so perfect, that the word turns into two syllables, "love-ah" adding an unrelentless sexiness to the song. ...Firstly, while "Showbiz" does not recieve as much praise as the albums "Origin Of Symmetry" or "Absolution", it is still a wonderful album in it's own right. The album includes tracks that are often requested live, such as "Sunburn", "Cave" and "Muscle Museum". Though they were only very young when they released the album, them group's talent shows just as much as it does on later albums. Matt Bellamy's vocals, guitar and keyboard work is especially apparent. "Showbiz" is an excellent record with a bit more diversity than the other two Muse records. In my opinion, "Showbiz" is just as good as Muse's other two records and makes just as good a listen as any. Advantages: good OST, no filler from dialogues/new tracks
Disadvantages: no new tracks especially for OST if you like them, no "Night Fox" track

...This is the official soundtrack (OST) for the hit movie "Oceans Twelve" - starring an all star cast including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Catherine Zeta Jones, Andy Garcia, Julia Roberts and Matt Damon. All of the movie on the CD is on the movie itself, unlike other OSTs where tracks have been written especially for the CD and also there are no dialogue tracks so you get plenty of music. Most of the tracks have been produced by David Holmes which I believe are the best tracks on the album. Despite such a mixture of music styles on the album, most of them are good and complement each other although I don't like one or two parts where the style changes half way through because of what happens in the movie. I feel that, like a lot of OSTs, the music is best in the background with the movie but it is a lot better than some others out there... Read review
