Maximum Bass 2007 - Various Artists

I was a little sceptical about this album (mainly from the advert!), but I have to say, it's turned into one of my most listened to.
The first CD is standard stuff, recognisable tracks from the recent few months, all sounding almost exactly like the original. All decent tunes, but not really with the deep basslines i was expecting.

CD2 however is a different matter entirely. Compeltely mixed by Wideboys, this is fantastic. Every ...
...bass, dance and garage in new and old tunes alike to produce my most listened-to tracks this summer. All song that i would usually pass over, have been given incredible new life with basslines that will seriously test out your sub(s). If only wideboys could have mixed the whole thing.

The purchase is worth it just for the second CD alone, but if you enjoy the new dance and club tracks this summer in their original formats, then the ... more

Every tune has been given a new sound, blending drum and bass, dance and garage in new and old tunes alike to produce my most listened-to tracks this summer. All song that i would usually pass over, have been given incredible new life with basslines that will seriously test out your sub(s). If only wideboys could have mixed the whole thing.

The purchase is worth it just for the second CD alone, but if you enjoy the new dance and club tracks this summer in their original formats, then the first CD is a decent compilation of these.

Worth a look even if you're a little sceptical at the somewhat Westwood-like-annoying advert ....
