Album Notes: Discovered in their native Las Vegas by fellow emo band Fall Out Boy, Panic At the Disco met with almost immediate success. Although they hadn't been around for very long (as a band or as human beings) when this interview/bio disc was released in 2006, it still makes for a lively and interesting tale of overnight fame.

Panic! At The Disco: Everyones new favourite band
Review of Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can by  briggsyrocks

Advantages: A superb singer, and two good albums in one
Disadvantages: The guitarist does very little

...A lot have bad things have been said about Panic! At The Disco, whether it be that they are a fall out boy rehash, that they are far too stuck up, or that they are trying to by techno, when they are emo, but i think, that shining thorugh all of this, is an ignorance of the utter variation that is in this album, and the fact that they are, crucially, much better than fall out boy. However, there is no getting away from the fact, that since the internet release of "i write sins, not tragedies" Panic! at the disco have become one of the most popular new bands in the country, with everyone (esecially the teenage region) appreciating the mixture between danceability, and skill, that forms the songs. On the surface, Panic at the disco are another one of those band hot out of america, that we are told that we must like by the critics... Read review

Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
Review of Fever You Can't Sweat Out, A - Panic At The Disco by  danfellowes

Advantages: Original, Unique, Catchy.
Disadvantages: Maybe too different for some.

...■The Band■ The beginning of Panic! At The Disco is certainly an underdog story that should inspire many upcoming bands to keep on going. They were signed up to their first record label without even performing a single show. Spotted by Fall Out Boy poster boy Pete Wentz on MySpace he recommended them to his record label. They took him up on the offer and thus, we have Panic! At The Disco. The rose quickly from small time underground success to world wide superstars. Becoming popular with fans of the emo genre, their original sounding tracks got many people interested. The band is made up of Brandon Urie who is lead singer along with an extensive list of other instruments such as rhythm guitar and keyboard. Ryan Ross is predominantly on lead guitar but again doing backing vocals, keyboard, organ and so on. The band has... Read review

Panic! at the disco
Review of Fever You Can't Sweat Out, A - Panic At The Disco by  fet88

Advantages: very catchy lyrics
Disadvantages: none

...well were to start, panic! at the disco, known to most fans as simply panic!, took the UK by storm last year after the release of their debut album A fever you can't sweat out. This album is full of amazing tracks...to name just a few: * The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage (no.2 on album)- one of the best songs on the album by far with its catchy lyrics from the start e.g i aim to be your eyes, trophy boys, trophy wives. * Camisado (no.5) - this song is one many teenagers can relate to as it is a bout someone who got in a fight and ended up in hospital. very catchy * Time To Dance (no.6) - again one of panic!s best songs. After personally seein them live twice i have to say this is one of the songs that goes down best at gigs, probably because of its lyrics : When i say shotgun u say wedding... Read review
