...Gwen really has outstanding vocals, as demonstrated clearly in Tragic Kingdom. They have this thing about oranges / mandarins s their CD cover is decorated with many pictures of them! There is a sort of "I'm so innocent, but I'm gorwing up" feel to this album. The range of tracks in this album is fairly diverse, but it all somehow manages to peice itself together perfectly. Advantages: Every song that appears in the film
Disadvantages: There are none that I could think of!

...This CD is probably one of the favourites of my collection, as a self confessed dirty dancing addict it perfectly provides every song in the order they appear in the film. Much better than the original soundtrack which only gave a selection of the songs. This CD is great for reliving the film...If like me you have seen it hundreds of times you can even get friends together and re enact the dance routines for each of the songs. Also perfect for a trivia game I have invented with my friends...play the CD and see who knows what was happening in the film at the time each song was playing. This leads into a perfect excuse (not that one is needed) to watch the film through again just to see who was right and who was wrong. The Ultimate Dirty Dancing Collection is the perfect soundtrack to all those girly nights in!... Read review
