"Its a lovely night for a Harvest Moon Dance!"

Advantages: plot, characters, descrpitions, price, author
Disadvantages: /

Sabrina Spellman, played by actress Melissa Joan Hart in the television series, is a teenage witch living in the mortal realm in America, initially with her two Aunts; Hilda and Zelda, and her pet cat Salem (whom was once a warlock sentenced to 100 years as a house pet for attempted world domination). Sabrina the Teenage Witch was a hit TV series in the 90s, with a total of eight successful seasons. Although it is no longer in production, it is still incredibly popular. Each episode takes us on an incredible journey into the young witch's life, where we see her attempt to cope with being both a witch and a teenager at the same time. With the series' a wide range of merchandise was released for its fans. Among the dolls and console games, a large amount of books could be fond, including the collection of novelizations. Book number #15 is ...

From Here to Maternity - Mel Giedroyc

Advantages: Light Hearted and Quick to Read!
Disadvantages: Would have liked some diary entries for how Mel coped after the birth!

This book is written by one half of comedy duo Mel & Sue and is a diary of the nine month spiral towards motherhood. I bought this book as I am currently 3 months pregnant and was looking for something different from all the pregnany help guides out there which looked abit intimidating. This book appealed to me as it is a diary by someone rather than a book describing exactly what happens at week 10, etcc. I enjoyed this book as it was quick to read but also easy and funny enough to keep me interested. It was also refreshing as it is down to earth and made a change from pregnancy books by most celebrities who describe how perfect their pregnancies are and how they only had tiny bumps! I think most people can relate to how Mel feels during certain times in her pregnancy. The book starts when Mel doesnt yet know that she is ...

Mel Gibson Plays Hamlet

Advantages: great cast, well acted, lovely to watch
Disadvantages: none

I studied Hamlet for A-level English Literature and really enjoyed it. As part of the course, we got to see it performed live and watched several film versions of it, all of which were very good. A while after I finished studying, I heard there was a new film version out, starring Australian pretty boy, Mel Gibson, in the title role. I had thoughts of Hollywoodisms, American accents and the ripping apart of the beautiful Shakespearian language - but I needn't have worried. Hamlet is played wonderfully well by Mel Gibson, proving he can act after all ! Glenn Close is a very good Gertrude, as mad as you would expect and Helena Bonham-Carter is an inspiring Ophelia. The film is superb - well acted, well directed, beautiful to watch and a very faithful interpretation of the original text. The sort of film that brings Shakespeare to ...
