Advantages: Beautiful arrangements of well loved classic songs.
Disadvantages: I can't save the six minute video to my PC.

.... A music review on Curtis Stigers' new album 'You Inspire Me' gave the singer/jazzman five stars. Even more exciting were the reviews for his UK tour earlier in the year promoting the album. The critics were ecstatic over his life performances where he snarled, crooned and scat in ways comparable to Tony Bennet as well as playing the saxophone. The controversial point for many music lovers is that this whole album consists of cover versions. OK! I can hear many of you. Cover versions are never a patch on the original-but please wait. Curtis Stigers has re-emerged as a jazz singer. Consider a blend of Chet Baker, the trumpet playing jazz singer, and phrasing similar to our own Annie Ross along with Tony Bennet and even a touch of Mel Torme, and dare I say-even Frank. Advantages: The sound!

...THIS TRACK ROCKS!! Northern Star was a hit, Goin Down was not so much of a hit, Never Be The Same Again was another hit, but Mel's latest - Turn To You, out on Monday 7th August is set to storm the charts! This is a dance tune and Mel claims that this is how her music will sound from now on. The video is interesting with her hair extensions and the dance club setting but still, the music is great! It's being played loads on radio, cable music channels and she's promoting it hugely so let's hope Mel gets to one with this one! Good luck Mel, we all love it!... Read review

...This is one of my favourite albums at the moment. I thought 'Will Mel be a success doing a solo album?' and yes is the answer. Mel has come a long way since the Spice Girls first started, her voice has matured. 'HOT' is very much r'n'b, with a bit of soul and ballads, and it shows off Mel's voice. This album is very much about her marriage break-up. There are 11 songs on this album: 1. Feels So Good - Good song, an upbeat song, something you can dance to. 2. Tell Me - Very good song, obviously written about her ex. husband, Jimmy. The line 'And all you loved was Mel B's money' says it all. 3. Hell No - Great vocals, and a bit of a love song. 4. Lullaby - A sweet song, written about her daughter, Phoenix Chi. 5. Hotter - A very sexy tune. 6. Step Inside - Great r'n'b tune with a bit of jazz mixed in, cool vocals. 7. ABC 123... Read review
