Advantages: features Hayleys amazing voice Disadvantages: Cd ends.
...A bit about the band; Paramore is a pop punk band from Franklin, Tennessee. It consists of vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Josh Farro, bassist Jeremy Davis and drummer Zac Farro.
The bands debut album "All We Know Is Falling" was an impressive first album for a band who are only in there teens,
can they keep the same standards with their new album?
..Of course they can. I was estatic to learn Paramore were releasing a new album, after i had become such a big fan after hearing their first album.
Riot! shows how much Hayleys voice has grown, and it amazing for such a small person, who is only at the mere age of 18.
I love this album, theres not one song i dont like. The best £10 ive spent recently and i personally would recommend it, its not cheesy pop or harcore metal, so it will suit alot of music tastes....

Advantages: An excellent album from a powerful female fronted band. Disadvantages: Not a fan of female vocals? Stay well away.
...2004 was the year that Paramore formed, the year later they released their début album 'All We Know Is Falling' through Fueled By Ramen records, and then their second album 'Riot!' appeared on the scene in 2007. 'Riot!' was recorded in New Jersey with the producer David Bendeth, an eleven track offering of utmost excellence. Paramore have come a long way as a band in their few years and this has to be seen as in no small part down to their gifted front woman Hayley Williams. The female vocalist has a lot of power and emotion in her voice, she conveys these qualities with great eloquence when she sings making Paramore a true force to be reckoned with.
The album begins with 'For a Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic', a great title for a track; that's for sure. It starts the album brilliantly, kicks it off with real heartfelt vigour...

Advantages: the great vocal because she is girl Disadvantages: none
..."Riot!" Paramore's second full-length on Fuel By Ramen (a label becoming notorious for producing "the next big thing") is a pop-rock rollercoaster yet Paramore in their attempts to grow have seemingly regressed. The genuineness seen on the first album shines through in only glimpses on "Riot!". Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to pigeonhole a band to a specific genre nor do I condemn bands for trying to have their music reach a larger audience. It's just that sometimes in that quest to branch out, a band losses some of their original appeal. "Riot!" may propel people's awareness of Paramore but like all decisions there will be costs to receive the desired benefits.
Admittedly, "Riot!" is catchy as hell. The songs (like all attractive pop songs) forcefully invade your brain and linger. Williams' vocals are still powerful...
