Advantages: two novellas and a range of short stories, different language use Disadvantages: sometimes a bit too complex
I've always loved reading and often ask my friends for recomendations on new or old books. The author John Connelly was recommended to me by a friend and when asked what book I should get he replied, "Nocturnes."
Nocturnes is a series of short stories and novellas by the same other focusing on the thriller/horror genre. The book features 15 short stories written in a variety of complex and simple language and some of them are bound to keep you up in the middle of the night. In my review I will give a short summary on a few of my favourite stories in the order they appear in the book.
The Cancer Cowboy Rides
This is the first story in Nocturnes and tells us of the story of a man named Buddy Carson, a man that waves up in the middle of the desert feeling ill. His illness causes him to throw up a sicky, black-blood like substance and he ...
Advantages: Very original, good idea. Disadvantages: can be hard for new player.
Paratrooper is the centre of gravity of new EA game: Medal of Honor: Airborne, a promising FPS game with the hope to be different from other WWII games, showing its special game plays.

They are the proof for the foretelling of an American general Benjamin Franklin 150 years before: ?Those who jump down from the cloud? and ?do the diabolic trick? in the enemy?s army.
Honestly, Airborne contain a big change compare to other previous Medal of Honor versions as well as its hereditary rival: Call of Duty. Those games before always ...
Advantages: A gripping thriller Disadvantages: Lack of bonus features on DVD
Fear is an edge of your seat suspenseful thriller that seems to be relatively unknown. It was released in 1996, starring Reece Witherspoon & Mark Wahlberg in two early roles for the both of them. This is a really gripping thriller that deserves a lot more recognition than it gets. I first saw this a couple of years ago when it was on TV at about 2am, it just looked like one of those films that channel 4 put on in the early hours of the morning to fill up their schedule. These films generally tend to be unknown, straight to DVD films that little people watch or even enjoy. This film was different though, I read the synopsis about it & even though it only been given a two star rating I decided to give it a go. I'm no professional but this film should be given way more than two stars & deserves a prime time slot on TV not 2am!
The basic ...
