The definitive record. Truly outstanding in every way: mention Metallica and this is what 90% of people will think of.
Found in just over an hour of pure metal brilliance are some of the greatest songs you will ever hear and the greatest: the truly amazing, Enter Sandman. Combining every instrument perfectly with each part at just the right level it doesn't get better than this. From the moment the track starts you know it's Metallica. If you like music, you'll like this album. If you like metal, you will LOVE this album.
Not many bands can boast an album thast has never left the Bilboard top 200 since its release in 1991: Metallica can. Not every band can have a crowd crying for the same song at a concert unprompted: Metallica can. The way every style Metallica have ever experimented with is put together on this one CD is incredible and is unquestionably the benchmark for any other metal band releasing a record.
From the trashy climax 'The Struggle Within' to the classic ballad 'Nothing Else Matters' you are fixated by the sounds from start to finish. If you only ever buy one more album, make it the Black Album
