I have this album and still listen to it even after a good 4 years. Some of their best ever songs are in this album. A couple of my favorite songs are faint and numb.
This album sold over 800,000 copies in the first week it was released.
When I first heard about Linkin Park I was quite shocked I didn’t hear about it before ... ...Meteora is a must have.
As Linkin Park was touring in America when they released Meteora they released a DVD called Live In Texas which was outstanding and had some of their best tracks in.
In 2003 this album was the third best selling album in America.

From the very first album Linkin Park have released, they have been known as possibly one of the best modern rock bands.
There first album released was Hybrid Theory and now they topped it of with Meteora. Meteora is a must have album if you are into hard rock.

Meteora is not all hard rock, some other songs like “breaking the habit” are calmer but this is not at all a bad thing. In my opinion the tracks from Meteora will always be around in years and years to come and will take a very long time to die down. Most people will remember a track by them if they heard one.
So yes the album Meteora have kept up the good work from Linkin Park, if not done much more than people would have expected.
It is obvious that Linkin Park have spent a lot of time and money into there tracks, albums and even the album art work.

Advantages: Full of solid tracks Disadvantages: zero
Second installment from LinkinPark, Meteora squares up very respectably to the MONSTER album Hybrid Theory.
As with their first album, this one is full of top quality tracks, the only one I skip forward past is track 11 - 'Nobody's listening'.
The combination of lead vocalist Chester Bennington (with his varying tones) and Mike Shinoda's rap style contributions makes these guys unique, and more importantly SUPREME!
Stand out tracks are (in my humble opinion):
Don't Stay
Somewhere I Belong
Numb.
This album is definitely in my top 10 albums of all time, and is a permanent fixture on my mp3 player.
In fact, i'm listening to it right now!!
My advice to you is if you like any metal, rock or even pop, get out there and buy it! ...
Advantages: Great band, great vocals and music Disadvantages: Screaming gets a bit much
The band wouldn't be the same without the rest of the band including:
Brad (Guitaris)
Phoenix (Bassist)
Rob (Drummer)
Joseph (DJ)
These guys really make Mike & Chester who they are today. Without them the band wouldn't be what they are. The DJ features a lot especially in this album, as do all of the other guys. They are very talented musicians which really add to the album.
Should You Buy The Album?
If you are a LinkinPark fan, you're favourite album will probably be Hybrid Theory, and this is a very different album from Hybrid Theory and I know a lot of people are not a fan of this album. However if you are new to LinkinPark or have only heard of a few of the tracks then Meteora is the place to start. It's full of some fantastic tracks which will really get you going. Well worth buying this album.
Hope this ...
Advantages: Variety of tunes within each song Disadvantages: Can get bored of the album easily and they don't tour very often in the U.K
Meteora is a very strange name for an album and i do wonder why they called it that!
I first came across meteora when one of my friends was listening to it on her portable CD-Player of which she let me listen to the album and wondered whether it was them or not and it was. I had heard of linkinpark from a few previous songs on their last album but wasn't that keen to learn of them until i heard their second album.
After a year of their second album being released i realised that they have brought out a few songs from that album of which their most recent is 'Breaking the Habit' (track 9).
Linkinpark have been around for a fair while now and i can actually tell you they've been around for six years as they first formed in 1999.
Their first album 'Hybrid Theory' was released on
24.10.2000 and their second 'Meteora' on 25 ...
