Linkin Park formed in 1996 and has sold more than fifty million albums worldwide. Their album hybrid theory was certified diamond in 2005. This album hit the charts in 2003.
Forwards 0:13 For thirteen second this track is an amazing opening it really isn't much all you can hear is clinking and then a smash of a window or something but it is a good start to this album.
Don't say 3:08 This is a good track it has good lyrics but the vocals can get a little messy because one minuet Bennington is singing a verse and then next thing we know he is screaming it is so confusing. This track has a brilliant beat though.
Somewhere I Belong 3:34 This has a nice flowing rhythm it is consistent. I like the fact that this band isn't just screaming or singing because they have rapping in it im glad that they have done that because it just makes the work greater.
Lying from you 2:55 This shows the "nu-metal" in this band with the guitar rhythm its more rock like than some of the other tracks. The lyrics to this track are amazing again with the rapping it just makes this bands work even better than what it would be with out it.
Hit the floor 2:44 Awesome beat and perfect tempo this track is brilliant. The vocals (rapping) are awesome its fast but not too fast it is understandable. The singing/screaming is the chorus and I like how they set it like that.
Easier to run 3:24 Great start nice and soft(ish) with a good little beat behind it and the vocals are amazing I think that Chester Bennington sounds better singing than screaming.
Faint 2:42 This one has more of a funky beat at the start I like the way they have violins in the background and then they will stop for the guitar to start with the chorus and then back to the violins. It is amazing.
Figure 3:18 Great beat and awesome rhythm vocals are brilliant they fit perfectly to the beat so it isn't messy or anything altogether it's a flawless song.
Breaking the habit 3:16 This song has a brilliant animated video to go with this track it Is probably one of my favorite songs by Linkin park because there isn't really any screaming and it is nice an smooth the vocals are really clear same as the beat rhythm and tempo.
From the inside 2:56 Now you have just gone from 'Breaking the habit' to this do you think it is any better? I don't its still amazing and everything but you just can't beat the previous track. Lyrics on this track are again clear and understandable awesome beat and it's easy to listen to over and over again (I know I can)
Nobody's listening 2:59 I like this because it has a kind of Japanese thing in the background it just makes the song better.
Session 2:25 Kind of boring start this isn't a favorite of mine I couldn't listen to it all the way through it just wasn't interesting enough for me the beat was lame and it didn't have any lyrics.
Numb 3:08 This is my definite favorite track from this album I have to say though when I heard it with jay-z I was disappointed it just wrecked it. Jay-z isn't a good rapper he thinks he is but he isn't and he turned this song upside down I cant stand the other version of this song it puts me off.
