Advantages: Plenty of gore. Disadvantages: Not for the squeamish!
This is a film only review for Hoboken Hollow (2005).
I actually wanted to get Wolf Creek out but it wasn't there so I ended up getting this out instead. On the back it sounded a similar sort of film - travellers going missing and end up meeting a psychpathic nutter, you know the usual stuff. Although I'd never heard of it, I thought that I would give it a go.
Well, this film is set in Texas (as they always are) and is supposed to be inspired by 'true life events'. How much is true I don't know but I think the key word here is 'inspired' .
THE PLOT
Travellers, immigrants and transients have a habit of going missing in the Hoboken ranch area in Texas. The Brodrick family that owns the ranch is only too happy to take in any travellers seeking work. Once there the unfortunate workers find themselves being kept as slaves with no ...
Advantages: Battery life, Size Disadvantages: Pixels on the screen
I bought my MSI Wind around a year ago, I have since fallen in love with it, bbut come to hate it on occasions!
It is brilliant for the creation of Word Documents and is a good way to carry about my Business documents, however in terms of Pure processing power, it falls down flat on its face.
The MSI Wind boasts a Dual Core 1.6 GHz processor (which means 2 800Mhz Cores). If the processor wasn't a dual core, I dont think it could even run windows! However, the MSI Wind has sacrificed the number of pixels to create this smaller screen. The screen is 1024x600. Which means that games that require a minimum of 1024 x 768 etc, will NOT run on the laptops native screen, and thus you will have to plug it into ...

Advantages: Outstanding War Film Disadvantages: None
'Apocalypse Now' was released in 1979, directed by Francis Ford Coppola and stared Martin Sheen as lead character, Captain Willard. The extract of this film I shall be analysing is the opening scene in which the central characters, including Captain Willard, are introduced. This film attempts to reflect the brutal events of the Vietnam conflict as well as the trauma and anguish suffered by those involved. It was produced not just for profit or entertainment, but to remind people of the sacrifices made by soldiers in the Vietnam War during a period when the conflict was condemned by politicians, amongst many others.
The scene opens with a still camera shot of a vast expanse of jungle. Peaceful silence is disturbed only by the movement of various wildlife, and the quiet yet repetitive sounds, of what the viewer ...
