Million In Prizes, A (The Anthology/Parental Advisory) [PA] - Iggy Pop

Advantages: Rocks on full of power and enthusiasm with witty lyrics
Disadvantages: Lyrics might be a bit repetitive on some of the choruses.

...Skull Ring is one of the best Iggy Pop albums in my opinion. It's amazing to think how old he was, when this album was made and to put so much energy and power into it is simply phenomenal. Every song on the album just bombs along with raw power! Superbabe, Motor Inn, Little Electric Chair and Nervous Exhaustion are just legendary anthems. This is probably Iggy's heaviest album ever and he pulls it off easily, some of the songs don't have the same effect live as on the album, they definitely did a good job on the recording of the songs. If you just want one Iggy Pop album, I would choose this or Raw Power everytime but this shouldn't undermine his other albums which are also great fun.... Read review

...This is Green Day's live footage from their 2005 world tour. Taken from their show at the Milton Keynes National Bowl, where they played to 60,000+ people on two nights consecutively. Being at the show this product is without a doubt the most prized in my audio collection. Their most recent album American Idiot through out the show, with tracks such as American Idiot, Holiday, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Jesus of Suburbia, to name a few. They also play such green day classics as longview, hitching a ride, King for a day, Minority and a heart felt performance of everybodys favorite Good ridance(Time of your life) Also Expect High Voltage punk rock with lots of audience participation and hijinx. ...Cassidy lent his vocal skills to R Kelly's Hotel not too long ago, and the song was a big hit that year. This debut album is an R'n'B/Pop/Hip Hop mix, which doesn't really stay up there with the bigboys. Of the 23 songs on the album I think only 7 of them are potenital good singles, Bang On,Pop that Cannon and I'l make you scream are the usual sort of songs we have come to expect from young American stars trying to follow in Ushers footsteps. The album itself isn't all that bad it's just the main focus of most of the songs are about sleeping with girls or 'Beef' with his boys! Im Hungry and The Pump are fantastic songs and he has some great collaborations with the likes of Snoop and Jadakiss.... Read review
