This is a collection of the rare & expensive 7" singles with a few tracks from the Earth A.D./Wolfsblood lps. There are a total of 20 songs by the legendary New Jersey punks.
The first song is "She" I don't know why this is on this disc, because it is the flipside of their first single "Cough/Cool". If you listen to this song really carefully you can actually hear lead singer Glenn Danzig on the piano. His playing is real good.
This compilation is one of my favorites, however this is supposed to be the cd you purchase if you do not want to shell out all your hard earned money on the very pricey seven inch singles. Out of all the songs on here, I think that my favorite one has got to be "Wolfsblood", although I don't think that there's actually a Misfits song that I dislike-every one is a classic in it's own right. They are a really talented outfit, and Glenn has written songs for such music legends as Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison.
The tracks on this devilish compact disc are pretty up-beat, fun guitar based anthems that appeal to everyone from goths to metal heads through to skaters and the new breed of young punks. They are an excellent introduction to the Misfits if you've never heard them before, and are great to sing along to, that is, if you can figure out the words!

All of the releases of The Misfits usually have a cool looking cover and inside pictures, lyrics sheet & usually some kind of bonus insert like t- shirts for sale or other misfits stuff. Sadly this does not have any of them, but it doesn't really matter, as the songs are so good that they don't need promotional junk to make them any better.
Listen to each track and you can hear how the band progresses in how the sound from the first song "She" to "Wolfsblood" . You will be impressed with how far they have come with their playing. It`s like they go from mediocre to speed metal thrash music on the song "Wolfsblood".
This is a compact disc that always gets continuous play in my stereo on a weekly basis.
So, if you are a Misfits virgin, grab this little beauty to turn you on to them.
