This is my second fave musical. The story is so gripping full of tradgedy, romance and a bit of humor. The opening to the show is always my favourite part along with kims nightmare. On the cd the track 'Kims Nightmare' is not in full it starts from half way through and is cut short at the end also which is a little but dissapointing. The way that the sound of the helicopter starts everything off at the begining of the cd the way it does in show is great. Starting off quite then gradually getting louder sounds awsome surround sound. It makes me feel like I'm there. The voices of the cast are powerful and portrays alot of what the character is feeling at that given time which made it easier for me to imagine it when I listened to it. The voice of Lea Salonga is so beautiful. It's soft and innocent with a bit of power when needed for her anger. The voice of Johnathan Pryce adds to the humorus element of his character 'The Engineer'. It is a double cd and has all of the songs some of which are cut short for the cd. The cover has the original Miss Saigon logo. I just love the artwork on this the way the helicopter is against the sunset and a bit of it portrays a woman's face. I would reccomend this to anyone who likes musicals and powerful storylines that are not always with happy endings.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Sorry for the low rating, but I think that your Review needs a lot more information and detail to justify a higher rating. It helps if you write every product Review as if you’re writing for someone who has virtually no knowledge of what you’re reviewing, in clear non technical language. You might find it helpful if you read and rate some other peoples’ reviews (especially those that have been rated VH or E). It might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include. It might also be helpful if you had a look at the Ciao guides to writing Reviews and Rating I found them really useful. If I can be of any help or if you decide to amend your review feel free to put a note in my gb, I’ll be happy to re-read and re-rate. Rich

is this review on the musical itself or the CD? because it could be either. if it is about the CD, then some more info on the tracks, play length, packaging etc could help improve the review. let me know if you would like any help or for me to re-read, just leave a message in my guestbook. gaunty
