Advantages: Refreshingly Different Disadvantages: None
Don't be put off by the title MissaLuba 'An African Mass' or think that it's 'too high-brow'!
MissaLuba is a wonderful example of African rhythms and percussive instrumentation - drums and shaken gourds - with traditional African 'call and response' melodies together with additional harmonies. Based on the traditional Mass the work consists of just five tracks - Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, Agnus Dei - and is just over fifteen minutes long.
The remainder of the recording consists of 10 Kenyan Folk Melodies. These too are as wonderful and refreshing as the MissaLuba .
Ideal for the 'serious' listener, as background music or for those who wish to listen to something a little different.
Go on. Give it a try; you will be glad you did. After all you have nothing to loose but much enjoyment to be gained.

Advantages: architectural wonder Disadvantages: cost many human lives to build
The Canal du Midi, is a man dug canal, situated in the south of France, and joins the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean sea, via the Canal Garonne. The water sources which allow the canal to be constantly navigable, come from the Montagne Noire, (situated in the south west of the Massif Central, near Mazamet, in the Tarn area), by three lakes, and the Saint Ferréol dam. This technical challenge, first imagined in 1539, stayed a project on paper for almost a century, until 1636.

The Saint Ferréol dam was built in 1667, and in 1680, the locks at Béziers, called "Les écluses de Fonseranne" were built. Pierre Paul Riquet died that year, and the very first navigation ...
Advantages: Value for Money, Built Well Disadvantages: Not as good sound quality as bigger budget models, Plain Design, Frets can be hard to navigate
Lets get some things straight. This is a solid guitar. For the money its built very well and plays sweetly. This is a not quite cheap as chips but not too out of budget range guitar so it can't really be expected to play like some of the higher end models. Nevertheless its still a decent bit of kit. The design though, falls short for me however. The plain black I think suits a more metal orientated (shred) type guitar but not really the Les Paul. Regardless of the colour scheme, if you are becoming an intermediate player of the guitar, and want to spend about £220 on a new axe suitable for lots of genres, (especially Hard Rock & Blues) then this may be the one for you. ...
