...Lloyds TSB, a fusion giant of the Lloyds Bank and the Trustee Savings Bank in 1995, becoming one of largest banks in the UK. Its head office now in London, Gresham Street. In Scotland it is known as Lloyds TSB Scotland. It also owns Cheltenham and Gloucester, Scottish Widows, and Black Horse. This is an example of a monster of a bank who are extremely good to you if you are paying the staff wages, but when you get into difficulties they seem to heavily crush you. Mind you it is not fair to say Lloyds are alone in this, all the financial institutions operate this way. But Lloyds in my experience are relatively good in some departments but poor in others. ...mobile services package which includes text messages to tell you if your card has been used abroad it will cost you £2.50 a month which i feel is great value for such an important service. Something which is fairly new to Lloyds TSB internet banking is the internet savers account which can easily be set up within 5 minutes. On the left hand column you will find a link saying 'savings account' & if you have one it will take you to a summery of your account & if not it will give you the option to set up an account. All you need to do is transfer £1 into your account & you're away! Save the change is also a great feature. This works in sync with your current account & is only available with your internet savers account so is one more good reason to set one up. Advantages: A good sound
Disadvantages: No Weslife's usual type of music
