...CD2, because of the styles of music that I would listen to on a regular basis are more apparent through that. However, if you are really diverse with the choices of song you listen to, I would recommend the real distinctive differences between both discs....

Advantages: Terrific selection of tunes Disadvantages: A couple of cheesy ones
...everyone. At first it’s hard to get into it but once the beats and rhythms kick in it’s a good tune that will move your body ‘higher’ supposedly.
15: MADELYNE~ Beautiful Child
A wonderful tune, a mix between, relaxing, chillout and moving. A tune that should get all the clubbers one a certain vibe on a certain pace. When I dance to this it keeps me on a certain pace and therefore gives you more because you can listen and move your body appropriately to the sounds here. Slightly aquatic.
16: SHAKEDOWN~ At Night
This has that happy 70’s disco sort of feeling to it by it’s happy bouncing chord followed and placed with a light female voice. Not a floorfiller and body killer but still an excellent tune I enjoy.

Advantages: Well compiled collection Disadvantages: Not all best tracks included
...of the hits but also some more obscure recordings will give you a real flavour of what the Stax record label was about. Whether you like the straight guitar blues of Albert King, the high tempo ‘behind-the-beat’ brass backed soul of Sam and Dave and Otis Redding or the dance floorfillers of Eddie Floyd and Rufus Thomas there will be something to like. For anyone with a love of Soul, R&B and pre-nascent Funk this is a must and will get feet tapping and hip swaying by anyone with a musical ear.
