This is the hardest thing i'm going to be reviewing for quite some time so i'm going to keep it simple. The Singles collection contains ten disks. Nine released singles and one unreleased. In total there are 44 songs. Many of which are bonus tracks and don't appear on albums. I'm going to list the songs in sections of which single they are on and write a bit about each single to save you reading a 50 000 word review. Gone with the Sin 1. Gone with the Sin (Radio edit) 2. Singles

Advantages: perfect little gem of a film
Disadvantages: none

?I?d try to comprehend you but I got a dyslexic heart?? Singles, Cameron Crowe?s 1992 tale of the twentysomething search for love in Seattle, is one of my all-time favourite films. This sweet, episodic mix of neatly interlinking storylines is very human, very funny and has probably the best soundtrack of any film in that decade (yes, that includes Pulp Fiction). ?How did this stuff get so complicated? I don?t know.? The storyline strands are relatively few, and this is why the film continues to be coherent and believable. Poor Linda has been dumped on more times than she cares to remember, so is in no mood to meet Steve, who might just be the love of her life. Steve?s ex Janet is, meanwhile, in love with her neighbour in the block of ?singles? in which they live, but Cliff is just too wrapped up in his music to give a damn ...

review of Platinum Collection, The - Deep Purple

Advantages: original, classic
Disadvantages: somewhat dated

Being a hard rock fan, it is going to be slightly hard to write a fair review, due to bias and experience. However, I can compare this against other hard rock bands greatest hits and say it is outstanding. This will probably be bought by all Deep Purple fans anyway, and i would like to take this oppurtunity to encourage the younger generation on Deep Purple. One of those who is said to have 'invented heavy metal', Deep Purple started a long way back, and over the years have produced a full and lengthy career. This album showcases their greatest hits, which are many in this massive album. If you are into any sort of rock, buy this, if you are an electric guitar payer, buy this (you can learn loads of Richie Blackmores playing), and even for blues fans this is an excellent and tasteful buy. ...
