For some time now, Little Miss has collected the puppy inmypocket sets and when she saw these, they were a "must have". I can't really see the appeal but then again, I'm not 7 years old!
WHAT ARE THEY?
The animals come in cardboard backed plastic packaging, and thankfully they are really easy to open and get out of the packaging. So many toys are a nightmare to get out, so when i find some which are relatively easy, then I am less likely to have them on my often threatened "banned list".
Once we get the packaging off there are 4 small animals- if you did keep them in your pocket, they would probably get lost. They are covered in a kind of very thin felt material so are quite soft and fuzzy to touch, with no jagged edges or sharp bits. I think the animals are supposed to be the baby versions ...
Advantages: Good role play, and lots of Accessories, transportable. Disadvantages: Have to buy more puppies to collect.
My daughter is very much into role play and animal toys, I found the Puppy inMyPocket Playhouse in Argos online site for £19.99. The set arrived in 3 days from date of order, and was in a brightly coloured Pink box.
The box is a good strong one with a picture of the Playhouse on every side, it has a viewing window on the front with a blue basket containing 5 exclusive Newborn puppies, very cute.

Inside is the Playhouse which is mainly Pink and has a Blue roof, there are numerous working windows of different shapes in Blue, spread around the house. Then there are Doors in Yellow which open. The House ...

. For someone who once criticised Paul McCartney, there?s more than just a passing nod to ?Eleanor Rigby? in the verses? cello arrangement, which delivers a more powerful tinge to the song than it seems capable of.
There?s a quiet intro to the track, a deceptively sparse collection of piano notes set against a backdrop of pure silence, before Polly?s haunting yet edgy vocals come into play. As the verses progress, the cello becomes more noticeable, especially when it?s given free rein during the break, the piano drifting away into the background. The ?less is more? ethos definitely works, though ? one of the major selling points of this song for me, my favourite track of the album.
For me, though, the highlight of ?One Day? has to be Polly?s own performance ? totally heartfelt and very emotive, her voice almost smouldering at times, scratchy ...
