Monty's - the Python of Restaurants

Advantages: Good atmosphere, excellent service, reasonable prices
Disadvantages: Inconvenient waiting area for queuing diners

I've been eating at Monty's in Ealing Broadway for nearly 20 years - it's my favourite restaurant. In the past I would say that I used to eat there once a week, now it's more like once a month or less (mostly due to the fact that I'm economising in general). It's my restaurant of choice and I've taken many friends, relatives and colleagues over the years and to date, I've never regretted introducing anyone to this branch of Monty's. A HISTORY LESSON ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are 4 separate Monty's restaurants in the Ealing area. One is in The Mall in the Broadway (the one I'm reviewing), there's on in High Street, next to the shopping centre, one in South Ealing, and one in West Ealing (Northfields). Review of Monty's Nepalese Cuisine

A Great Monty Python Film. Ni!Ni!Ni!

Advantages: Hilarious, great extras, funny everytime you watch it
Disadvantages: Nothing!

I have loved Monty Python since seeing Monty Python's flying circus years ago, so when I saw this collector's edition dvd box set of 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' for sale in HMV I couldn't resist buying it. (and I love it even more now that Michael Palin was an honorary graduate at my graduation and I stood about five feet away from him! He also did his Knights of Ni impression) The collector's edition dvd set comes in a cardboard casing which opens up to reveal the extra goodies you get in the box set and two dvd discs. The Collectors Edition Box Set comes with some really nice extras in it. Along with two dvds you get: * Four postcards with scenes from the movie * A screenplay book so you can read along with the film if you really wanted to!
