Advantages: A brilliant collection of songs, lyrics and arrangements. Townshend at his imaginative, thought-provoking and at times obscure best Disadvantages: None
.... A Little Is Enough (4:39) *****
A horn and pizzicato synthesiser open this track which has always been my particular favourite from this collection. There is a fine melody, fine romantic sentiments and a stunning arrangement. This track morethan any from the album has provoked argument about its meaning. Taken on a superficial level it appears to be a strong declaration of love and longing and will conquer any adversity put in it’s way.
“They say that love often passes in a second
And you never can catch it up
So I’m hanging on to you as though eternity beckoned
But it’s clear that the match is rough”
On the other hand there are also many deeply religious references in the words where divine love promises eventual redemption:
“You love’s so incredible, Your body’s so edible
You give me an overdose of love. A little is enough”

Advantages: Amazing lyrics, You get to hear Kate Moss sing! and Pete Doherty if you like him! Disadvantages: Pete Doherty if you hate him!
...of previous material by Pete's former band, The Libertines.
Track Listing:
1) La Belle et la Bête - 05:03
This song's title is in french meaning "Beauty and the Beast" as the english translation. It is a jolly start to the album with guitars starting the song. Pete Doherty then enters with a quiet vocal, the bass is then introduced and the song finally builds up to a vocal from Kate Moss, who is accompanied by held bass notes, and an upbeat drum rhythm, and a guitar. The lyrics are really quite good, and I feel that the french makes the song sound much more beautiful, and adds intelligence.
"Is she more beautiful, is she more beautiful
Is she more beautiful than me?
Is she more beautiful, is she more beautiful
Is she more beautiful than me?
She's La Belle Et La Bete at the ball
