...this is the first cd i ever bought. and i never looked back. this single purchase taught me so much about music. it taught me to delve deep into back catalogues and find hidden gems to treasure. quite simply, you need this album. you don't know it yet, but you need this album. the songs are brilliant, tell me, in all seriousness, that you are never in the mood to hear Dude (Looks Like a Lady) or Eat the Rich... they are classic songs. but the great thing is, they all are. ALL the hits from the eighties and early nineties. and some other songs, which are good too. but the thing is, this isn't their best album!!! amazing. (and cryin' and livin on the edge and MORE)... ...to the fathers of the electronic music: " kraftwerk ". The drums, the bass and the digital effects of the voice are a clear exponent of the kraftwerk’s sound. As sample of Neil’s irony: " I heard it in the House of Commons, everything is for sale" 4 - Rent - One of the singles of the LP. That’s a lovely ballad. I just need to listen the first chords of the song already to tremble. I believe that it’s one of the songs where Neil sings better, his sweet voice fits perfectly on the melody. The sample of " again " that sounds on the whole song is another of the elements that comes to my mind when I think about this song. "Look at my hopes, look at my dreams... I love you.... you pay my rent". 5-Hit music – Sounds to me like a discotheque song, but the truth is that does not have enough rhythm to be danced. 6-Another... Read review

Advantages: Back to her folkier route, fantastic lyrics and singing voice.
Disadvantages: A couple of bad tracks, not her strongest album to date.

...from her albums. It's a rockier piece, with a fantastic guitar solo intro that makes you tap to the beat. It reminds me a cross between Lucie Silvas' "Breathe In" and Belinda Carlisle's "Leave The Light On". The lyric in this is so romantic, yet sorrowful at the same time. The melody of the chorus runs smoothly from line to line. It's a 'must hear' song - One powerful ballad". Verdict - 10 / 10 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (9) Last Dance Rodeo (6:16) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Don't wander too far, my one constant star, darkness exists." Lyric and music by Jewel Kilcher. Back more into her traditional slow folky style with a soft rock beginning. As usual, another powerful chorus that fills up the room.
