Mortal Thoughts was released in 1991 and starred Demi Moore as Cynthia, Glenne Headly as Joyce (whatever happened to Glenne Headly?), Bruce Willis as James, Harvey Keitel as Detective Woods and John Pankow as Arthur. The film was directed by Alan Rudolph, produced by John Fiedler and jointly written by William Reilly and Claude Kerven. Rated an 18 certificate the film runs for just over 100 minutes.

The bad reputation surrounding live action video game adaptations is justly deserved. I tend to avoid investing my words in a genre that has received countless brown markings from failed projects; per se Street Fighter, starring the truly awful Jean Claude Van Damme, and the equally as bad Doom, starring ex-WWE wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
Having resisted seeing Mortal Kombat for fourteen years after its release, I decided it was time to give it a go. The reviews I had previously read were mixed: American critic Eugene Siskel, in particular, considered it the best video game adaptation he had seen at the time; Roger Ebert, however, said it looked "murky", and, on the whole, failed to impress beyond his incredibly low expectations.
So, how bad is Mortal Kombat? Bad... really bad. But so bad that it's good? Erm, not quite ...
Advantages: An excellent award winning drama, based on a true story. Disadvantages: None!
My Reason For Purchasing A Beautiful Mind DVD.
I wrote this review a year or so ago for another review site which has since closed. I thought I would upload it here as A Beautiful Mind is one of my favourite Drama films ever and I just wanted to recommend it and give some opinions on it. There is quite a few reviews already about it, but I just wanted to give my two cents worth also.
