Album Notes: For its take on legendary reggae toaster Eek-a-Mouse, Greensleeves' MOST WANTED series focuses on the singjayer's most heralded years. For a period in the early-1980's, Eek-a-Mouse supplied roughly an album per year of hypnotic, sun-soaked reggae, breathing some much-needed light in the wake of multiple tragedies. This compilation focuses on the 12-inch versions of many of the artist's greatest hits of the era, unearthing some tracks previously available only on vinyl. Included on MOST WANTED are such hits as "Ganja Smuggling," "Wa-Do-Dem," and "Noah's Ark."
Album Reviews: Uncut (p.88) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "This collection sees the singer on top form and shines a light on the pulsating instrumentals he rode so well."
Advantages: good album! Disadvantages: a few let down songs
...The tracks on this cd are as follows:
1.: Wa Do Dem
2.: Ganja Smuggling
3.: Operation Eradication
4.: Noah\'s Ark
5.: Long Time Ago
6.: There\'s A Girl In My Life
7.: Georgie Porgie
8.: Lonesome Journey
9.: One Hot Summer
10.: I Will Never Leave My Love
11.: War Don\'t Pay
12.: Slowly But Surely
13.: Too Young To Understand
The CD is good value for money because it doesn\'t cost that much and has wa-do-dem on it which is one of his most famous tracks. The CD also contains other gems such as track 7. I enjoy listening to this CD when i want to relax and listen to something slow rather than the usual dancey stuff i enjoy. The lyrics are very original and although eek-a-mouse isn't a very well known artist he sings pretty good songs. One thing i would say though is DON'T BUY THIS ALBUM FROM HMV or any other shop, buy...

Advantages: Fun, cheap and features songs from the TV show Disadvantages: The changed the Original theme tune (confusing for adults)
...This is a fun CD with 18 songs, some original some a new spin on old classics. They are easy to listen to and it does not take long until you find your children and youself singing along. Unlike many disney CD's mickey mouse clubhouse has the actual characters singing the songs. One of my favourites is Goofy singing his own version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Also, unlike many childrens CD's a lot of the songs on the CD are featured in the television show. A lot of the songs are a different spin on the original which helped to extend my daughters vocabulary. Overall a fun CD, at a good price, under £4 in most places and a good substuite if you want to cut down on the TV....

Advantages: Lovely, varied songs that make you smile. Disadvantages: When you have it on repeat as much as I have, you might annoy your neighbours...
...In Between Dreams
This is one sublime set of songs. Better Together kicks off the album with a slow summer style that calls you in and chills you out without any apparent effort. Simple lyrics and a funky, catchy, guitar based song that makes me want to describe it as "plinky plonky". I know. It's a ridiculous way to describe a piece of music, and quite unacceptable I imagine in most music loving circles, but this is my review, and two weeks away from giving birth and having just lost half a tooth (think I swallowed it - eek!) I think I can use whatever language I want to describe this wonderful musician. Except Swahili or Russian. Don't speak those.
I love this album. My nephew was born to the sound of Jack singing merrily. It's a beautiful album with some amazing songs and the added bonus that they are all so different in style...
