Advantages: Might remind you of some songs you had long since forgotten Disadvantages: You might not have the same taste as me
This is a list of my top ten songs, I have so many favorite songs that this list is just a selection of what I like I could never condense them all down to a top ten!! These are in no specific order just a selection of 10 songs that have made a difference in my life.
1, Run - Snow Patrol
I have seen Snow Patrol twice in concert and they are one of the most amazing bands I have ever seen. They captivate their audience. The song Run is taken from their Album 'Final Straw'
I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
In all I've done
2, Give Me Novacaine - Green Day
I love Green Day as a whole and it was very difficult to work out which song was going to go in the list but this one has the most memories for me so had to be put in. The song Give Me Novacaine is taken ...
Advantages: Good rhythms to do the housework to, some excellent songs Disadvantages: Some songs will appeal to some and not to others.
Housework Songs is a double CD compilation album. The idea is that these songs are all suitable to listen to whilst doing the housework so easing the load and making the dutiful chores a little more enjoyable. On the front cover is a picture of a woman (rather sexist, men do the housework too! At least they do in my house!) singing into her vacuum cleaner. There are 41 songs on the album and there is a good mixture with something for everyone. We have songs from the 1960s including "Pretty Woman", and "Respect", in the 1970s we have "You Sexy Thing" and "American Pie", the 1980s gives us "Fame" and "I Think We're Alone Now", the 1990s gives us "Over My Shoulder"and "Moving on Up" then from the 2000s we have "Spinning Around" and "The Closest Thing To Crazy."
I love this album it has such a fantastic mix of songs, all of which I ...
Advantages: Good music which shows Stevie Wonder?s different styles. Disadvantages: Differences of opinion about greatest hits.
When reviewing an album with ?greatest hits? in the title, by an artist who has used a variety of music styles in his long career, there is bound to be controversy about which tracks should be there. I don?t want to haggle about Stevie Wonder?s best tracks, so far, as I probably wouldn?t end up pleasing many of his fans, if any. (Some critics seem to think that if a song is commercially good, it probably isn?t musically good.) Instead, I want to tell you about the tracks on this album and let you decide whether it is worth buying.
One thing I am sure about is that there is no rubbish on this album. The tracks, to me, are either good or brilliant, therefore, I give the album 5 stars.
A wide range of music influenced Stevie as he grew up including Gospel, Jazz, Reggae, and Motown. All of these influences can be heard on ?A Song ...
