Advantages: Excellent performances in a perfect setting Disadvantages: Very minor quibbles
's employment really did happen!
By 1778, Mozart's composition style had developed to the point where his violin sonatas are much more of an equal partnership between violin and keyboard. During this year while he was in Mannheim and Paris, he composed a set of 6 sonatas which are featured on this DVD. They were dedicated to the German aristrocrat Maria Elisabeth, Electress of the Palatinate, but most importantly for Mozart, they were also published in Paris - his first major music publication.
This was a vital step for Mozart. Not only was it a good source of income to have the works published, but it also served to spread his music around a much wider audience than would otherwise have been possible. So these works, while perhaps not the most widely known amongst the general public, are a vital stepping stone in Mozart's development ...
Advantages: Origami-like sets, costumes, bold basic colors; Mozart's music, all sung beautifully. Disadvantages: Un-PC elements may cause unease in modern audiences.

Final Words.
I highly recommend this whimsical production of 'The Magic Flute' to audiences new to the genre, as well as to lovers of Mozart's music, and to followers of the minimalist school of aesthetics. For the first time, I actually enjoyed the visual aspect of this opera. Before this, I'd seen only Ingmar Bergman's from 1975, and my youth may have precluded my appreciation of it then. Curiosity has got the better of me now, so it's onward to the Swedish language version of this work tout de suite!

The German shepherd is a bold, affectionate, loyal and trustworthy and intelligent canine companion.
I have experience from when i was just five years of age with the breed as my parents used to show and breed this breed of dog. as far as i am aware of there are two mental types of German shepherd. there are the English type and the German type.
the English type bloodlines are heavier in weight, bigger in bone and more laid back and calm where as the German type are lighter smaller in bone and very energetic and hyperactive. also the English type is more sable and black in colour and the Germans type is an almost red tan and black.
Both types i have to say are a lovely dog to own and choose as a doggy companion but the German type needs more excercise to please the energy he/she has to burn off. my parents used to breed ...
