Music:
Mozart - think melodies, think heart-rendingly simple expression of emotions, yet at the same time a love of fun and dance. This is totally approachable music which is joyful, longing, playful and incredibly relaxing to listen to. Having the single minor sonata in the middle of the performance provides a heart-rending intensity and this - K.304 - is probably the finest interpretation on the DVD. There are lots of almost aria like operatic melodies in the slow movements of these sonatas, whilst the joie de vivre of the faster sections is sure to have you tapping your feet and perhaps dancing around the living room doing your housework! Advantages: Gets baby to sleep Disadvantages: See the op.
On having our baby my hubby and me went into town to look for a baby night light preferably one that played nice calming tunes.
After looking in several shops we decided to go into Argos and look through their catalogue. Seeing several different ones we were comparing prices and to how many tunes there was on each one, there was one that just played one tune and needed to be set on a set of draws or some thing, another one with just images of winnie the pooh, and one that was an aquarium that played four gentle nature sounds and two lullaby?s.

The story amounts to little more than a children's tale with the usual elements of heroism, love, revenge, forgiveness, etc. Ah, but the most aurally pleasing music of Mozart elevates it to a higher plane.
From Arthaus Musik DVD comes this modern, minimalist and playful production of Mozart's final operatic work, 'The Magic Flute / Die Zauberflöte', perfomed live on 26 August 1992 at the Ludwigsburger Schloßfestspiele.
