Advantages: Great value for money Disadvantages: Some better material has been missed out
..., recorded with Elton John. A good version of a good song. The "ladies and gentlemen, Mr Elton John" bit was done a few times and I guess the audience became less and less enthusiastic at each recording but you can't tell from listening to it. Both singers sound brilliant live.
5) You Have Been Loved
In 1991, George was widowed. His partner died and this song is a lament to that and his partner's mother. He may have be suffering but it's nothing to losing a child, seems to be what he is saying. "She sits and counts the hours". Of course, the song has now become synonomous with the death of Diana, Princess of Wales as it reached number two in 1997, the same week "Candle In The Wind" topped the charts. George once said when he wrote the song he had no idea it would become relevant to 3 people he's lost. His partner, his mother...

Advantages: couple of great songs, Natasha can sing when she tries Disadvantages: far too much of liz squawking, most of the songs sound the same
...I have the previous two albums - always good for the pre -night out cheese fest, but was pretty disappointed with this offering from the kittens.
It starts off with a terrible cover, drones on for about 14 songs and then finishes with one of the most depressingly dull ballads ever.
"Ladies Night" is awful. I'm sorry but there's no other word for it. Advantages: It rocks Disadvantages: A few iffy tracks
...of simply epic proportions.
The Troggs - Wild Thing
Three chords. Just three chords. Magnificent.
Covered by huge signed acts and garage bands alike, this record is one of the best known songs on the planet.
David Bowie - Rebel Rebel
Ziggy rocks us hard and fast with this fantastic display of remarkably 'un-fancied-up' guitar tones (Very unlike Mr. B...), vocals are particularly memorable, and undeniably Bowie.
Jeff Beck - Where Were You
This track slows it down to a long and melodic trip through wailing harmonics, beautiful slide guitar, and psychodelic reverberations. Woah dudes. Trippy.
Joe Walsh - Rocky Mountain Way
Driving rock at its best. This formidable track beats the monkey of all other chugging guitar riffs. You can almost hear the trucker horns just thinking about it...
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing...
