probably her best album. recorded at a time when Mariah Carey's voice was at its best. the writing and production team were fantastic. each song was potentially a number one single but not all were released as such. Ballads that have held the test of time and still ring out from wedding receptions around the country. i recently exposed my younger cousins (in their early teens) to the album and all three went out and bought a copy of the album. they thought of Mariah's music as poppy r 'n' b and did not realise what an exceptional voice she had early in her life. the lyrics conjure up a number of times in my life when things were either fantastic or miserable, which sums up this album. i play it when in love or when alone or dumped. there are 10 songs on the album:
Dreamlover Hero Anytime You Need A Friend Music Box Now That I Know Never Forget You Without You Just To Hold You Once Again I've Been Thinking About You All I've Ever Wanted
My favourite is a tie between Hero and Without You. Both uplifting, both showing off the extraordinary range possessed by this diva. A must have in any album collection

For me this is still 'somewhat helpful'. For those who don't know the songs a list of them isn't very helpful. What do they sound like? If you read a few music reviews this should give you an idea.

Sorry for the low rating but you haven't really told us what is on it. Give us an example of some of the songs and what they sound like. How does this compare to similar albums etc I suggest you read around other reviews (especially music) and this will help. If you edit this let me know via my guestbook and I'll come back and re-read it.
