Advantages: Blues music, what more can be said? Many great legends of blues and soul.
Disadvantages: Not enough songs

...No doubt, many of you have seen the Blues Brothers film, and I expect all of you have at least heard of the Blues Brothers. I was first introduced to them after seeing the stage musical production (which blew me away, it was phenomenal) and afterwards, I listened to this album which has always been in our household, but I had always ignored it. I only recently saw the film when it was broadcast on TV so it?s fair to say I was travelling backwards as far as the Blues Brothers is concerned! This soundtrack album includes almost all of the songs that are featured in the film, missing out only one or two. Unfortunately, the priceless performance of Wanda Jackson?s ?Stand By Your Man? isn?t present, but that?s probably a good thing really! Advantages: A few scarface film samples
Disadvantages: Nearly the whole thing

...Many people have been influenced by the scarface film and the rap genre has especially referenced to it man songs. This is now an official compilation of songs with money, power and respect themes. as you would imagine, all are rap. Put together in 2003, this def jam idea includes songs by Nas, Mobb Deep and Notorious BIG, some made especially for the album some old tracks that just fit. None appear in the film but there are samples and dialouge used from the picture. Tracks Its Mine - Mobb Deep & Nas. Scarface cues used as the sample in this one which was originally put t ogether in 99. A good relevant track to start the album Yeo - Cam'ron. ...installment of their musical vision “Peace at Last” was released to universal acclaim with magazines like “Q” saying “What do the Blue Nile do all day? And what do we care as long as roughly every 2 World cups they bring us something this special” this album even made the Top 50 albums list of the year in “Q” that year, not bad for a band most people haven’t heard of and for a group that has yet to have a top 10 hit single. The album became another top 20 hit in the UK, this album is seen by fans of the band as a bit of a departure from their usual sound which was built around the possibilities of the fairlight keyboard, this time the chosen musical palette included more guitars and even a gospel choir to bring a more soulful bluesy feel to the songs making the album more assessable...
