A little introduction first. Kristine Sa is an Asian American singer, so i guess she is a little hard to find in teh UK. I became aware of her due to my bias towards the oriental culture, and being vietnamese, Kristine Sa is also vietnamese, which made me give her a listen. I found her cd on the website, and on itunes. all for a good price of £10 including delivery from the US! www.nemesismusic.com is the record label she is on, thats where i ordered her cd.

A short breakdown of her album

1. A Dose Of You
Up beat pop type song. Kind of happy happy but works well. Nice opener to the album. Reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog

2. Hold You Forever
This is slower, calms down teh album after the first track. You can feel that the mood is changing here. Its a nice song. very soft and gentle.

3. Gone By Fall
A very sad ballad. I like this song. It slows down even more on this track, but it works well.

4. The Arms Of Paradise
Another slow song, rather sad too. Its okay this song.

5. Beautiful
This song is more funky electro type. She doesn't sing on this track, its more of a recital of her poems that she writes. Its alright this, but the next track is better.

6. Nexusbeta/Parallel Fates
I love this track. Its a great track. another one of her poems turned into a music track. Its very electro-dance type, but i tihnk it works so well. Its a song that you might expect to be in a club to dance along to, but at the same time, its also a song that you can listen to when you're just lying down, with this song playing, and you can close your eyes to it. I love this song. Kingmin, her producer has done great work on this track. It may not appeal to all though however.

7. We
After NexusBeta, the album slows right down again to another ballad. Another very sad song. People that are going through breakups love this song, they say it describes them perfectly. The lyrics are very sincere on this song. An excellent song by all means.

8. My Heart Still Breaks
I really like this song. Another sad piano ballad. She does well on this song. The same tempo as "we"

9. I Never Knew
The title track of the album. Its a powerful song this i feel. Still keeping the slow tempo with the heartfelt lyrics. Very gentle this song

10. Wont Let Go
The last song is another electro type experimental song, similar to A dose of you. I prefer a dose of you to be honest

In conclusion, I belive that this is a very good first album. There isn't a song on it that i despise or don't like. She has a second album out now, which is more remixes and rarities of this first album, plus about five new tracks, but i still recommend this album. A very good heartbreak album.
