Advantages: beautiful Irish classic voice Disadvantages: the old irish classic abit over played
...When I put this album on it really sparked a great emotion and pride inside to be Irish. John McCormack sings these Irish classics with a powerful mans voice that really brings your imagination into the heart and sole of the music.
This album is a peacful and relaxing trip down memory lane.John McCormack's singing style combines the beatiful melodys of a classical trained voice with the stricking sound of a strong Irish accent. This gives the album its uniqueness and gives it the storytelling quality that brings the peotic lyrics to life.
This album is great value for money with up to eighteen tracks each track a popular classic of its own.
The only issue with this album is it does contain all the classic Irish songs that are quite old and have been over played abit over the years....

Roxy Music appears with their soulful version of Lennon’s “Jealous Guy.”Elton John features with the original version of “Candle In The Wind”, dedicated, of course, to Norma Jean Baker. (Marilyn Monroe...
