Music for Newborns - A Bright Beginning

...I have a 'new' niece who is currently 14 weeks and she is wearing Huggies Newborn size 2 nappies and my review is based on these. The size 2 is designed for babies who weigh 3-6kg and you get 40 nappies for £5.98 from Tesco stores although these are currently on offer for £5.00 per pack. The nappies are very lightweight and pretty in design. These particular nappies have Winnie The Pooh on them and although my niece is too young to appreciate this I am a fan of the design, as is my sister (who chooses this brand every week at shopping!). The nappies are white and have an elasticated waist allowing them to mould better to the shape of an individual baby (as we all know they can greatly vary in size!). ...When my daughter was born I bought pampers nappies as I had no problems with them with my older daughter. Although I didn't have a problem with them as such they seemed very tight around the legs. So on my next visit to buy nappies I thought I would look at other options. Huggies seemed a reasonable price, I paid 8.96 for 72. I bought stage 2 which are still for newborns. They state 3-6kg/7-13lb. My baby is now nearly 11lb there is hardly any marks on her legs as they are quite elasticated. They have not leaked and she seems quite dry. It states on the packet "Our Softest Ever" and they do seem to be soft. They have a picture of winnie the pooh on the front and they seem to take the wetness away - no nappy rash... Read review

...Being a new mum I have tried various different brands of nappies & I have to say I think Huggies newborn are the worst I have used. Unlike Pampers newborn I found Huggies very difficult to put on my baby, the back of them never seemed to lie flat so I could never get them in the right position I also found that Huggies gave my baby a very red bottom which looked very sore. These nappies where not very leak proof either, I was forever having to change my baby due to either wee or poo going all up her back or out along her legs. I only used two packs of these nappies (and that was because we didn't buy them) and I will def not be using them again, I don't even think ill be trying any of the bigger size as I don't want to be wasting money when I know other brands are far better.
