It is rather nice to write an opinion on a wholly British dairy product for Country Life English Butter,as the name suggests,is a British butter. It is produced by English Butter Marketing Company Ltd,which is 56 % owned by Dairy Crest.
This fine dairy product is widely available in local grocers,supermarkets and food stores and is,in my view, among the very best butter products in the market. It is easy to spread - the Spreadable version launched in 2000 is even easier to spread- tastes nice and is a great butter to lace on chunky bread,soft rolls or croissants. It is also nice on water biscuits and cream crackers with the likes of a slab of cheddar cheese. You can also use Country Life English butter in many recipes and another plus point is that it is relatively inexpensive.

Lavender looks good, smells lovely and has many practical uses. Indeed lavenders have been recorded in this country since the Roman times. They are a very versatile plant, valued for their aesthetic, aromatic, medicinal and culinary uses. In my opinion they make a lovely edging to a path so, as you brush past, their perfume is released.
