1. Mein Herz Brennt
Starts off slow, but Mein Herz Brennt soon hits the chorus and after that, there is no stopping this wonderful song. The keyboarding is excellent and one of Flake's best performances. Incredibly catchy and easy to sing along to. 5/5
2. Links 2 3 4
Starting with marching, soon commencing to the trademark vocals and drums. Catchy and unstoppable, Links 2 3 4 is almost perfect, Till's vocals are superb as always and the highlight of this song. Though it is slightly repetitive at times, this being the only let down for this song. 4/5
3. Sonne
Till counts to ten in German, then it starts. Ultra heavy guitars, the song doesn't go quiet for very long. Sonne is one of the best on the album, Schneider as usual, is perfect on the drums. 5/5
4. Ich Will
Till's vocals, mixed with the perfect drumming and keyboarding, Ollie on bass has another remarkably great song. Unforgettable and easy to get totally absorbed in 'Ich Will'. Anyone who likes Rammstein will love this track, Ich Will has a bit of everything, including many electronic sounds in the background courtesy of Flake Lorenz. 5/5
5. Feuer Frei
Famously featuring on the Vin Diesel film xXx, great keyboarding throughout and superb guitar riffs make this another highlight. Feuer Frei translating to 'Fire At Will' sums up this song, rarely stopping or slowing down, Feuer Frei is one of the heavier songs on Mutter and one of Rammstein's most famous songs. 5/5
6. Mutter
The song of the album. Slow but heavy keyboarding characterise Mutter, with Till's usual great vocals, the song is perfect and one of Rammstein's best ever. 5/5
7. Spieluhr
Starts rather unusually, with just Till's voice, then it hits off, with a music box playing occasionally, as well as Kruspe's daughter adding the creepy but well suited vocals giving this song even more. Instantly unforgettable. 5/5
8. Zwitter
A very different type of Rammstein song, still heavy but moving from the normal Rammstein heavy metal, sometimes verging on Rock/Pop. However, the vocals are very memorable. Schneider is at his best again. Everything works together in Zwitter, making it the best song on the album. 5/5
9. Rein Raus
One of the few disappointing songs on Mutter. Till's vocals are great but its repetitive and overshadowed by the many better tracks on Mutter. 3/5
10. Adios
An unusual track. Sound effects in the background and the changing from heavy and fast to slow and soft characterise Adios. A unique song. Not the best on the album but still a great song. 4/5
11. Nebel
Slow, but still a great song. The percussion is notable in Adios though Till's voice sounds somewhat depleted. Not Rammstein's best slow song, but still sung well and suits the albums content well. 4/5
12. Hallelujah
Apparently not on everyone's version of Mutter. But, the song is great. Anyone who has seen the film Resident Evil will recognise this. Heavy and great vocals. I cannot understand why this was left out of some version of Mutter. Hallelujah is perfect. 5/5
