Advantages: The 6 number 1 records Disadvantages: The rest of the tracks are rubbish
. Finally after 7 tracks we get something from the 70's! From 1974 it was #3 in the UK but only #4 in the US R&B Charts despite being classed as a soul song, so yes it was a hit but no it wasn't disco.
8. Going Back To My Roots - Odyssey. From 1981 and it was more popular in the UK than anywhere else as it was #4, its best in America was #55 on the US Dance Charts. What you might not know (and I certainly didn't until today) was theirs was a cover version of Lamont Doziers 1977 funk original. Oh and his version is better than theirs.
9. So Many Men So Little Time - Miquel Brown. From 1983 and produced by Ian Levine, the same guy who wrote and produced High Energy. This track was actually the 1st creation in the HI-NRG club music genre made in an attempt to prove disco wasn't dead. According to Ian Levines Youtube entry it was #1 pop in ...
Advantages: I was born in the 60's though lived my childhood in the 70's! Disadvantages: makes me feel soooo old!!!!
This review has been inspired by Yummy! You know, that chocoholic that does no good for my diet. And yet writes fantastical reviews about the stuff you can almost taste it.

My first memory of the 70's was starting junior school.
I was nervous. I had a teacher who was rumoured to throw chalk across the room at boys that didn't pay attention.
I must admit to not ever witnessing this action!
He was good looking, and I quite had a crush on the fellow.
I loved the playground games of the 70's.
Kiss chase, a hoop with a ball attached, ( forget it's name), hula hoop, cats cradle, and of course we all played ...
Advantages: Excellent storyline, amazing 3d effects, and fabulous cast Disadvantages: Gory, and jumpy. and the ending may take a little understanding so pay attention
, who are the main characters once the story moves on 20 years.
The storyline is excellent and really captures your attention. I personally spent most of the movie either dodging the amazing 3d effects, or trying to guess who the killer was, which at the end, came clear and left me amazed, as I'd had absolutely no clue. My partner didn't get the ending, but with a slight explanation he understood.
The characters are well acted and very well developed, and unlike other 3d movies we'd seen, were actually the centre of the movie.
In my experience, 3d movies have a habit of being more focused on the 3d element than the story, but this one was perfect.
3d was used to enhance the story, including some excellent effects of blood splattering and objects coming towards you. I actually moved out of the way on more than one occasion ...
