Selfdestructive patern kicks off with Violent Mood Swings, that let everyone know they were back and heavier than ever.
They mix heavy guitar's with melodramatic singing.
After hearing Spineshank's other albums, i bought this one too, some of the songs on this album aren't quite as heavy as their older albums, which i think is a good thing, as it give their music more variety. I love the lyrics on this album, and their sound. My favourite songs on the album are 'Smothered' and 'Forgotten...

Advantages: Excellent album Disadvantages: No more to come
...understated musically, but still stands out for me.
Try Not To Think is about as close to a love song as the sometimes bitter Easyworld get. It's a nice track, but not one of my favourites
After a long pause, the album finishes with Compilation Blues. A bit of a weird finish to any album, but it still fits with the rest of the album for me. Not your average Easyworld track but again makes me wonder what we may have missed out on.
Overall a fantastic album, really worth a listen. It won't be for everybody...but if you like your guitar led indie, I'd really recommend it....

Advantages: Good clean guitar riffs and snappy drumming, some brutal heavy songs Disadvantages: Some vomit-like screaming and some dull repetitive songs.

The vomit like screaming vocals that plague bands of late dont really do anything for me, but the song has an ok chorus and some good drumming. Lyrics are pretty much standard nu metal stuff, something about an f'ing disease.
6/10
02:-SLAVERY
This song starts off with a heavy guitar riff and again some snappy drumming but fails to really go anywhere, and gets a bit repetitive after 1 minute. The bridge is quite good...
