My World - Bryn Christopher

.... For the next one, anyone who has seen gladiator will know the tune - Now we are free- Hans Zimmer/Lisa Gerrard/Klaus Badelt. I find this music incredibly haunting. 5 is Maria Callas Suicidio! In questi fieri momenti. 6. Something Wonderful sung by Bryn Terfel - A fantastic piece of music from The King and I. I saw this film as a child and then a couple of years ago I was taken on a surprise visit to the London Palladium to see it on the stage. A must for any teacher it was truly Something Wonderful. I think Bryn Terfel has just the right voice for this song. 7. The Unknown Soldier (From the Doors Concerto) - Kennedy - this is truly a wonderful piece of violin playing and so moving. 8. Advantages: Good solid album with several stand out tracks

...Lets get one thing straight. I have not heard any of Jimmy Eat World's early stuff and as such cannot comment on whether Jimmy Eat World are sell-outs, in fact, I can only rate this album without bias. Shame that. So, without further ado... I first heard of Jimmy Eat World when I heard Praise Chorus on a sampler. I was feeling kind of down at the time and this was one of the most uplifting songs I have ever heard, it really cheered me up. Encouraged, I decided to buy Bleed American. This is a good album, well worth buying, as it has a vast range of songs, truly something for everyone. It has punk (Bleed American or Salt Sweat Sugar as it's now called), uplifting power pop (Praise Chorus), heartbreaking angst (Hear you Me), darker songs (Get It Faster) and slow reminiscence (My Sundown).
