..., Elvis That’s the Way It Is, Elvis Now and Elvis Country. The following is a detailed account of the songs. Snowbird Written by Canadian singer-songwriter Gene McGellen. It is interesting to know that snowbird is a real bird, but can be slang in America for cocaine addict. This is a fantastic performance to start this album off. As far as I am aware Elvis only ever sang this song live once in ’71 and is on a bootleg called Snowbird. If this is wrong please correct me. A real foot-tapper and sets you in the mood. Overdubs used. Undubbed alternate version on The Nashville Marathon. Tomorrow Never Comes Written by Earnest Tubs. Builds up into a right stomper. His voice is fantastic in this. The Nashville Marathon In 1970 Elvis had a recording session of two weeks that covered 6 original albums That’s The Way It Is, Elvis Country, Love Letters From Elvis, and Elvis Now. ...I loved this album! Elvis by the Presleys is a must-have! I love Elvis, but why should I buy this album? I also have a son/daughter who wants to get into Elvis, would this be the right album to buy? Yes, definately! You should buy this album for your son/daughter and yourself as this album is comprised of some of Elvis' best and inspirational songs! You won't regret buying this album, trust me! OK, so what songs ARE on there? There are some great songs on this brilliant album, songs like: If I Can Dream (which was made a duet with a very real Celine Dion and a digitally placed Elvis on the stage of American Idol on the show's chairty special: Idol Gives Back),Bridge Over Troubled Water, Suspicious Minds, My Way, Jailhouse Rock and A Little Less Conversation.
