Advantages: It's Bill Bailey and there are some classic tracks such as Insect Nation Disadvantages: Doesn't last long, and many of the tracks are poor choices
...I've been a fan of Bill Bailey since watching the comedy Black Books (if you haven't seen it you are seriously missing out - you might like to check out my review of season 1 at http://dvd.ciao.co.uk/BlackBooksSeries1DVDReview5616196) and love his DVDs (they often come out when we're drunk and have friends over) as they are absolutely hilarious. I would love to see Bill Bailey live, but haven't got round to it.
Anyway I was perusing my extensive Amazon wishlist one day, and found that his "Ultimate Collection Ever" was reasonably priced on Amazon Marketplace and since it had been lurking on my list for 2 years I felt it was time to make my purchase.

Advantages: Has a wide variety of musical pieces, songs and speeches. Is easy to listen to! Disadvantages: Probably not to everybody's liking!

This is no joke either; my life is Kill Bill orientated. The night that I came back from seeing Kill Bill at the cinema in Bluewater I even pretended that I was a character in the film and was pretending to fight with an imaginary Samurai sword! Immediately on my Christmas list I put ‘any Kill Bill merchandise’, therefore it came as no surprise that seeing as the film was not available to buy on DVD or Video that somebody would buy me the Soundtrack. Which thankfully, I got.

Advantages: Great songs, performances and production. A fresh direction. Disadvantages: Too much of a departure for some fans, perhaps the last great PiL album.
...down and listen to 'Album' realised not only was it better than the previous PiL album, but it's beauty matched that of the first three albums, albeit in an inverted way. It reached #10 in the charts and featured the classic Irish flavour single Rise, concerning South African police torture methods.
For this album Lydon enlisted the production talents of Material bassist BillLaswell, who worked with Lydon earlier on his collaboration with Afrika Bambaataa under the moniker Time Zone for World Destruction, a song that predates Run DMC and Aerosmith's collaboration in rock and rap unity.
'Album' could be seen as an unofficial solo album. Half the tracks were co-written with Laswell, while the others were written with the fired short-lived live '84 line-up. A stable group was yet to emerge - a group that didn't meet the approval...
