Track 1. Never Forget
This isn't one ... ...as they are kinda saying never forget us…even though we have been gone for 10 years you haven't forgotten us!
Track 2. Back for good
This was the last take that song that was released with Robbie still in the band…this track was released in early 1995 and Robbie later left the band in the summer of 1995 when he started to become really friendly and hang around at Glastonbury and stuff. This wasn't seen as a ... more
Oh my god! How happy was I when I seen the take that documentary that aired in November 2005. It was great that they were so honest about there take that days and to see what really goes on behind the scenes and stuff. As most of you probably know Take that was a massive boyband back in the 90s consisting of 5 members. Robbie Williams who left the boyband just 6 months before they split, has none gone on to superstardom and is one the best selling uk solo artists at our time. Mark Owen went on to release a couple of solo albums which failed and was later dropped by his management company, he then went on to celebrity big brother in 2002 or maybe 2003…I cant quite remember. He won and again tried another hand at a solo career although he hasn't done too badly he still hasn't quite conquered the career that Robbie has. Gary Barlow went on to have a solo career but it didn't last long, but he hasn't went back to a normal day job he is a really successful song writer and over the years has written many great songs including a couple for Blue and Charlotte Church. I wasn't quite sure what Jason Orange and Howard Donald has been up to though. Anyway I was even more happy when I discovered that they had released an album and was going on tour. Being only 11 years old when they split in 1995 I was never really old enough to go to their concert, so I am really glad this comeback has happened.

This isn't one of my favourite take that songs but I suppose a really good track to start off the album as they are kinda saying never forget us…even though we have been gone for 10 years you haven't forgotten us!
Track 2. Back for good
This was the last take that song that was released with Robbie still in the band…this track was released in early 1995 and Robbie later left the band in the summer of 1995 when he started to become really friendly and hang around at Glastonbury and stuff. This wasn't seen as a suitable way for a member of a boyband to behave and as storys were told Robbie was forced to quit the band!
Track 3. how deep is your love.
This was take that's final single. On 13th February 1996 the boys announced through a press release that they were calling it a day and that their final single would be a cover of the beegees how deep is your love. To me this was really disappointing thinking back now that they said goodbye to their fans with a cover version! Not my favourite song!
Track 4 - Pray
This song came from take that's first ever album released in 1993 and although there first album went sort of unnoticed by many the release of pray was the making of take that and was also there first uk hit. is it any wonder it got the attention with the video…take that virtually naked dancing around on a beach somewhere!
Track 5 - Relight my fire
this sung was a duet with LuLu and for that reason along i hate this song...lulu really annoys me! i cant stand the woman! Although this song did reach number 1 in the uk charts!
Track 5 - Everything Changes Possibly my favourite take that song of all times. Mainly because Robbie had lead! but it was just such an uptempo and great song! I still knew every word of this song 10 years on. this was also a number 1 in the UK and also around Europe and Canada!
Track 6 - Babe Aww such a sweet song! Little Mark Owen singing a Solo. I dont know anyone.....well any take that fan who didnt adore this song and love Mark Owen even more when he sang it!
Track 7 - It only takes a minute girl again another great song! This is the kinda song that you want to dance around your living room too! This is a cover song by Tavares and reached number 7 in the UK.
Track 8 - A million love songs Such a great love song. Only reached number 10 in the charts at its release which must have been really disappointing but later climbed to number 2 after the boys won 7 smash hits awards for this song and other things.
Track 9 - Could it be magic released in 1993 and was a cover of barry manilow song. I didnt know that until just then when i did my investaging and research for this review! Please tell me i wasnt the only dumb person who didnt know that !!
Track 10 - Why cant i wake up with you! Sexy Video! Reached number 2 and Take that won a brit award for best british single for this song! interesting!
Track 11 - Love Aint here anymore! i love this song! just realised ive said that for lots of songs on this album! dont really know what else to write about it though apart from that its great!
Track 12 - I found Heaven This song has a great little beat to it! I found heaven sweet heaven baby.....lalalala!! haha! Cant wait to see them perform this song in concert when i go to the manchester gig in may!
Track 13 - Promises This was the first single they released since the uproar that the video for do what you like was released and only scraped into the top 40. Take that then went on to do a tour of gay clubs to boost their fan base!
Track 14 - Once youve tasted love The third single they released! Only reached number 47 in the charts! disappointing! obviously the tour of gay clubs didnt get them that much fans!
Track 15 - Pray - Live in Berlin I didnt really see the point in them putting this on the album as we already had pray on the album! why didnt they fill the CD up with Take that and party or Do what you like???
Track 16 - Relight my fire (element remix) BORING!
Track 17 - Today ive lost you This track has never been released this would be a follow up to back for good! if they hadnt split we might have heard this song 10 years ago! its a shame they did because its such a great song and so meanful! They finally recording this song in September 2005(so i imagine its minus robbie).
i would definatly recommend this cd to anyone who liked or even remembers take that! its available from all record stores priced at around £9.99. Hope you all enjoyed my review and to anyone who is going to see them on tour, have fun! i know i will!!

...an Amazon voucher on.
Never Forget is pretty much a greatest hits album, with one previously unreleased track. All the songs you would expect are on it, as well as a live version of Pray and a remix of Relight My Fire. There are a whopping great nineteen tracks on this (Over an hour and seventeen minutes!) and recordings spanning thirteen years. A must for any fan obviously, but also the album anyone with even a casual interest in Take That should ... ...twenties, has asked for the Never Forget album for Christmas. Plus, it's the sort of music you can play in front of your parents or grandparents (unlike Eminem's Curtain Call, which I bought at the same time I got this album!).
Both Back For Good and Pray remind me of the videos, when I listen to the tracks. Back For Good was their pre-Robbie farewell, I believe, and it is quite sad because of that. As for Pray, well, all these years later, I still ...

...he provided the vocals on Never Forget. Was known back then as the one with the strangest white-man dreadlocks ever, and is now known as a top DJ.
Robbie Williams - what can I say? When I was 10 I loved him. Now I think he is somnething too rude to type here! The Songs:
1 - Never Forget (#1 - 1995) - An absolute anthem which has Howard's silky smooth vocals and a chorus you have to chant along with. Anyone who has seen this live should get goosebumps ... ...and a shame this was never a single
Overview
I can't decide if I am angry at Take That for reforming or not! All these feelings I supressed 10 years ago are all flooding back! If I had a pencil case I'm sure I'd be tippexing "TT" on it. It is a testament to the band that these songs still stand up today. Any one of these songs could be released now and still chart highly - as demonstrated by the recent release "Patience." The only downside is that ...

I was never really a huge fan back in the 90's, Boyzone came out a few years after them and I was devoted to them. That was back in the day where you picked a band, learned everything there was to know and followed their every movement, fortunately now there is a more relaxed feel to enjoying a band and their music, that and the fact that i'm a grown up now! ...not much difference but I never said anything to him. Take That back in the 1990s were a 5 piece boyband (Gary, Robbie, Mark, Jason & Howard) later to become a 4 piece when Robbie left to pursue his solo career. It was in 1996 when the sad news came that was to break the hearts of a lot of teenage girls all over the country Take That were to split and to be fair I think everyone thought that it would be Gary Barlow who would be the big name but they ... ...is as follows
1. Never Forget This is a good track to open the CD afterall it is the title of the album and it is mediocre track not too bouncy and not too slow. 2. Back For Good The last single that Robbie sung on before his departure in Summer 1995 and i find it a good easy listening track. 3. How Deep Is Your Love
Originally a hit for the BeeGees and i felt the boys covered it well and i remember the video for this one well, to me its not one ...

The CD comes in a cardboard sleve which gives it that little bit more extra protection. The cover is silver and features a picture of the full 5 boys walking in the rain and has the title in white. The reverse is black with the full track play list and the usual credits.
The songs are all favourites of mine and the boys are in great ...
