Ok I have to admit to the fact that when Take That first came out I like them but because of my age back then I never admitted to anyone (how sad am I lol
First to leave the band was Robbie but it was a while before his solo career took off and when the band finally split in 1996 everyone thought that it was going to be Gary and Mark who would really make it in their solo careers but Robbie proved them wrong and has gone from strength to strength.
So when the Documentary was on last month I thought I would watch it for a laugh and wanted to know what the boys have been up to since their split in 1996.
After watching it, it brought back some good memories for me, not only the band but other personal memories etc so I thought hey lets buy the CD.
Now I do already have Take That's Greatest Hits (somewhere in the back of beyond) but thought it would be cool to buy this one after all the boys are making a bit of a mark on the nation again.
The track listing is as follows
1. Never Forget 2. Back For Good 3. How Deep Is Your Love 4. Pray 5. Relight My Fire 6. Everything Changes 7. Babe 8. Sure 9. It Only Takes A Minute 10.Million Love Songs 11.Could It Be Magic 12.Why Can't I Wake Up With You 13.Love Ain't Here Anymore 14.I Found Heaven 15.Promises 16.Once You'Ve Tasted Love 17.Pray (Live Berlin 1994) 18.Relight My Fire (Element 2006 Remix) 19.Today I'Ve Lost You (Previously Unreleased)
To me I thought it would have been better had the tracks been in order of release which would have been a greater memory for all Take That fans.
For me, my favourite track is Pray I still find myself singing it as I wash up etc I cant help it as it's a nice tune.
Relight my fire was also a great track of mine a great bouncy number if you were out having a few beers and got drunk and forgot you were dancing to Take That lol.
The final track is Today I've Lost you this was supposed to be the next release after Back For Good but sadly the band split before it could be released.
I remember the day they split up believe it or not I had not long found out I was pregnant with my son who will be 10 next year.
Take That have also come together for another tour to which as far as I know has sold out oh I wonder how many people in mid 20s will be there lol, well if you think about it if a girl was round 10 when Take That first appeared they will be mid 20s at least and
