, although you can still snack in moderation on the Weight Watchers plan). The Weight Watchers Beef Hotpot sounded ideal. It was described on the box as "lean minced beef with peas and carrots, cooked in a rich red wine gravy, served with crisp potato scallops". Sounds like a pretty delicious, filling meal to me... so in the trolley it went.
Feeling a bit hungry one day last week and having about half an hour to grab something, cook it and eat it, I scoured the freezer. I wouldn't have chance to eat again for a while so thought now was a good time to try out this meal and hope it was as filling as I thought it would be. It is an average portion at 320g and comes in the usual plastic microwavable dish with removable cling film lid, which needs to be removed to cook.
It contains scalloped potaotes, beef, carrots and peas in a rich beef creamy gravy.
When I eat mine I usually have it with a very large mixed salad, so ...
