Advantages: Over the top (in a good way of course), long lasting, looks great. Disadvantages: Quite a rare game so will be harder to find and more expensive than other PS2 games.

Introduction:
It had been a long few years leading up towards the PS2 release of this game in the U.K, but for those of us who enjoy the over the top, loud, extravagant Marvel vs Capcom games of old it's been well worth the wait.
The original Dreamcast version of this game was fantastic to say the least but with added characters, more over the top finishing combos and the new cheesy background music, which'll be in your head for weeks and weeks, the PS2 version has stepped up and is laying down the law to beat 'em ups being released any time soon. Without taking anything from the original version, this game is as over the top and as exciting as you remembered, bringing back many memories of time gone by.

One of the great proto-ambient albums. After signing to Virgin, Manuel Gottsching decided to shorten the Ash Ra Tempel appellation to simply Ashra, but this alteration didn't in any way compromise his musical vision. NEW AGE OF EARTH is a sonic paradise of interlocking, shifting synthesizer webs and processed guitars, wrought with a growing intensity that sucks the listener into its cushioned womb. The long title track encapsulates the record. Curtains of sound undulate like the motion of windswept oceans, suggesting vivid, organic, rainbow colors. Gottsching is one of the true designers of what might have properly been called trance music, had that category not been usurped by the techno genre. The sounds of NEW AGE OF EARTH transfix the listener. Audio art in all its glory, a sonic painting that reveals deeper imagery with each listen, Gottsching's music is simply sublime.
