New Favorite - Alison Krauss & Union Station

I can't help it - I'm a convert! So... if you're looking for some new music to listen to and are in a happy frame of mind (so you wont get too depressed by the subject matter!) ...The soundtrack for the show that has to be my current favourite matched up to what I expected from it. It has the best tracks from the series in order to capture the different mood swings of the programme. It sweeps from the bouncy, up-lifting "I Quit" by Hepburn (not to my taste) to the dark and moody tracks like "It Doesn't Matter" by Alison Krauss and Union State. Tracks such as "It Doesn't Matter", "Lucky" and "Virgin State of Mind" are instant reminders of the show and they balance out this soundtrack very nicely indeed. "I Already Met You" is one you will love or hate and for me the voice is just too irritating personally. Overall it is a fair album with no major criticisms as it combines the better known with the currently unfound in an emotional twister.... Read review
