Sleigh Ride The first track on the album, "Sleigh Ride", starts with sleigh bells approaching in the distance, behind a standard swing beat and swirling saxophones. Harry then invites us on a night-time sleigh ride and you can almost sense the eggnog and Arran sweaters as they rush through the snow, powered by a rushing swing beat. My favourite part of the track actually has no vocal, where the band loosen the beat and reprise the standard tune with a much "swingier" feel. Overall, a great opening track, that gives the impression that you are rushing through the cold night air to a performance of the remaining tracks. 2. ...TONIGHT - PHIL COLLINS "I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord" I thought that putting this song on this Cd was rather wierd considering all the other songs were up to date and new. I think that this song is on it because of the cadburys advert. I think that this is a rather sad rock song with a good beat to it and lots of drums. A classic great song even although its an oldie on a trendy CD (5/5) 08 ~ WHEN YOURE GONE - AVRIL LAVIGNE " When youre gone the pieces of my heart are missing you" A upbeat pop song which is just like the other songs which Avril had released, it has a similar beat to Girlfriend. This is probably the only song of Avrils that i have heard her singing the whole way through without any instrumentals or pauses. ...it is music that anyone old or young can listen to. My children grew up with the LP's playing in the background. They both say that the songs are beautiful and bring back memories of their childhood. Myself, I know almost all the songs word perfect and can sing along if no one is at home, sometimes I feel very sad that my voice isn't beautiful and that I can't sing in tune. Occaisionally I hear a track on my local radio station, and I have heard that radio 2 plays his music sometimes, and although that might date the music a bit I am certain that this music is timeless and will live on in the hearts of the people who have heard it forever.
